Kiva is not a 1-1 lender (NYT article)

Hi all,

I thought you made be interested to learn about the nuances of Kiva's
lending model, which has created an uproar in the US. In fact, they
are simulating a 1-1 relation between lender and recipient, but not
actually allocating the money that way.
