Hello Microwavers,
On Saturday August 2nd the SBMS and the San Diego Microwave Group will
hold the annual "Tune Up Party" at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa. It
starts at 9:00 AM and goes until 1:00 PM.
This is your chance to check out your entire rig's performance in both
the receive and transmit modes.
Kerry Banke, N6IZW is providing the test range setup for the 10 and 24
GHz Bands.
If you want to test on 47 and higher GHz Bands. Let Kerry know ASAP by
email to kba...@sbcglobal.net. If time allows, he will attempt to have
gear to test those bands.
On each band you will need to aim/peak your rig's antenna at the
signal from the remote source/mixer to participate in the test. This
is not a test of individual components, but of your whole functional
station..

If you're coming south on the 405 freeway:
Exit the 405 Freeway at Brookhurst, South on Brookhurst, Left (W) on Adams.
Right (S) on Placentia.
Turn right into the Park at the traffic light.
Go left in the park until you get to the last parking area.
Save the space next to the tree and table for Kerrys truck full of equipment.
