Peace conference in Los Angeles

I am part of a planning "Peace Conference" in Los Angeles (Echo Park/Silver Lake area) mid April. There has been a lot of interest in Nonviolent Communication. And even requests to do "empathy training" before during and after the meeting. I wanted to reach out to SOCAL NVC to see if this would be of interest to any or all. If so you are welcome to be part of the planning meetings and all of the process moving forward (via phone or Skype or in person) or just show up on the day or anything in between. Thoughts?

Hi James - Thanks for sending this out. I'm interested in participating, maybe contributing some NVC training. Please provide more detail on the times/dates of the event, and any specific requests around the training.

Alara Yes, that's the free NVC Conference in Oxnard.  The dates are Apr 13 and 14.  Promotion of the event will begin in about a week.  I'm aiming for Feb 4 or 5.  Thanks for asking. Warmly

Hi James,

I too am interested in offering NVC training and participating in the event.  I would love to hear more about what you have planned, and any thoughts about how you are thinking of incorporating "empathy training" and "honest expression" into your day.  Another fabulous resource for you (if you are not already in touch with them)  might be the Echo Center in Echo Park.  Their mission is nonviolent parenting, Parenting for a Peaceful World.  Sounds like a match to me.  Ruth Bieglehole is the founder/director.
