Sunset Beach updated kitesurfing area !

Thank you for your inquiry. We will be posting the kiteboard launch
and land area between Broadway and 11th Street (same as the second
half of last summer) beginning June 14th. Per the request of the
Sunset residents, we will move the area at the half way point of
summer (around August 1st). We have not yet determined the location
of the area for the second half of summer but we will disperse flyers
to the kiteboard shops and post them at the beach as soon as we know,
which should be within the next two weeks.

questions. We also look forward to working with the public to
maintain safe activities at Sunset Beach.

One more follow-up from yesterday (Sunday 06/02/08), I met Ross on
15th (one of the new Sunset head lifeguards), he informed me that a
wave-runner has been already purchased and they're going currently
thru insurance / liability process, he thinks that by June 14th will
be effective so probably you'll see it on the water, with that said be
aware of it and please abide rules ( specially on crowded weekends ).

under Sunset area ( sometime before June 14th will help ), thanks.
