Shabad Kirtan in 3ed raag "Gauri" thru Jaswant Singh Ji on July 1st, 2012

This is the link to the recording of last sunday's July 1st, 2012 program on "Shabad Kirtan" on third Raag "Gauri" from the SGGS ji. This Kirtan was thru Jaswant Singh ji for a duration of almost 2 hours in single Raag as is it traditionally done during the time when the tradition was started with Guru Naanak Devji.  The emphasis was on the "Shabad" not on the musical aspects of it.

 

The two shabads that were emphasized were:

 

 

Mayray raam ham paapee saran paray har du-aar.
mat nirgun ham maylai kabahoo^N apunee kirpaa Dhaar. ||1|| rahaa-o.

Next Shabad Kirtan will be on the 4th Raag "ASA" on the first sunday of August 2012.
