Four people including a teenager were killed Saturday when a Toyota
Corolla crossed the center line of a highway in Lawrence County and hit
five motorcycles, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the five motorcycles were traveling north on Missouri 39,
three miles north of Aurora, and the Toyota was traveling south when the
car veered out of its lane. The crash was reported at 11:20 a.m. Saturday.

The four who died in the crash were either motorcycle drivers or
passengers and included a 17-year-old female, whose name was not released
because she is a minor; Kameron Hale, 28; James Olmsted, 59; and Linda
Anderson, 61.

All individuals involved in the crash were from Aurora and were wearing
safety devices, the patrol said.

The Toyota was driven by Theresa Manetzke, 51, who suffered serious
injuries. Once the car crossed the center line and hit the motorcycles, it
traveled off the west side of the road and landed in a ditch.

A separate arrest report said Manetzke was arrested on suspicion of
driving while intoxicated before she was released for medical treatment.

After Manetzke's Toyota struck the motorcycles, the bikes overturned,
ejecting the drivers and any passengers, before they came to rest off the
east side of the roadway.

A 2003 Honda motorcycle driven by Olmsted caught fire. He and the 17-year-
old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 2006 Harley motorcycle was driven by Jesse Clinkenbeard, 54. He suffered
serious injuries and his passenger Linda Anderson died at the scene.

Cody Zielinski, 35, was driving a 2000 Harley motorcycle. He suffered
serious injuries along with his passenger, Jessica Zielinski, 35.

Darrell Trueblood, 37, was driving a 2000 Honda motorcycle. He and
passenger Krista Trueblood, 30, suffered serious injuries.

Kameron Hale was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle. He died at the scene and
his passenger, a 16-year-old female, suffered serious injuries.

The four killed at the scene were transported to funeral homes in Aurora
or Pierce City.

Seven others, all with serious injuries, were transported by air to either
CoxSouth or Mercy hospitals in Springfield.

In addition to the highway patrol, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office,
Aurora Fire Department and Mercy EMS responded to the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
