Protests were held on Friday to mark the Guantnamo hunger strikes
100th day. Outside the White House, demonstrators wearing orange
jumpsuits and carrying signs were arrested after refusing to leave
the sidewalk. In New York City, dozens of people gathered for a
rally in Times Square.

Ben Case: "As far as I can tell, President Obama wants to say
that Congress is holding him up, or theres these laws, or its
complicated. As far as I can tell, its not complicated. Thats a
military prison down there, and President Obama is the
commander-in-chief of the military. As far as I can tell, he has to
pick up his phone and call someone and say, 'Close the prison.'"
-------------------------------------------------------------

Obama has broken his 2008 pre-election promise to close it.

shitcan him, i say

why not volunteer to house those now housed in Gitmo, just to show your
commitment to your philosophy?

Why weren't you saying to "shitcan" him from Feb 2012 to Nov. 2012?

It is the republican degenerates in Washington that passed laws to prevent the closing.

I don't see what the problem is.
If the jihadis want to starve themselves to death, by all means
stand back and let nature take its course.

Wrong, wrong, ohhhhh so wrong.

You must mean:

"Hello, this is Obama, throw him in prison."

Your choice, Mitt, was far worse than Obama...far worse.

Makes no difference, son, he can still do something, take a
stand and fight it. You may be too dense to see the options he
has...as President and as CIC.

Look dumb ass...try using your brain. Does "take a stand and fight
it" mean anything to your peabrain? You've advocated just giving up.

For starters, use the bully pulpit...every day. There are many
more options available, but see if you can grasp the bully pulpit idea.

usenet...full of dumb asses and peabrains...<sigh>
