Since this is one of the deadest newsgroups I frequent and I need to add

Interesting sig for a vision impaired group, most of whom would have

Add to that my vision impairment. Besides being myopic as a mole and now old
enough to be enjoying bifocals, I have a severe visual field limitation in
both eyes.
I often employ the comparrison to limited view points and conceptual
limitations based upon "field limitation". Short sightedness is one of the
reasons why I became so proactive about educating folks about VI and
disABILITY.
I can see well enough to make people question my legal blind credentials but
not well enough to talk them into lending me the car keys.
