Seems everyone has gone into hibernation.
But then I'm sure the rest of society would be much more comfortable with
their touch screens etc, if we were out of sight.

Brian,

I m still here, but have little to say right now as my treatment,
currently with Lucentis, seems to be working well, if expensively. I had
been on Avastin, but my retreatments were getting closer and closer
together, so I wa switched to thie greatly pricier Lucentis. It seems to
be working better as my vision tests have been improving at my
monthly(this month 6 weeks so we shll see) visits.

I wish there was something that coul dwork as well for you. It is great
to have one semi-decent eye working.

I'm still here. I'm at the less severe end of the visually impaired
syndrome, having nothing worse than short sight and a worsening cataract
in one eye which I will have to arrange to be removed sooner or later.

Well I have had one cataract done, but it made little difference. The
operation is OK though I elected to be knocked out so I did not see the
shadow of the needle!
