Brian,

Merry Christmas to you and all the active raders of this newsgroup:-)
Even to all the inactive ones who haven't found anything to post about.

I hearad from my Macula doc that there is a new drug tht has been approved
tht works simlarly to Avastin and Lucentis, but is a different molecule.
It seems to hold the the swelling of the blood vessels down for a longer
period so i may well need a shot only every other month, instead of every
5 weeks! The dos also hopes the comlpany is not as greedy as the Lucentis
one, and prices it a a more reasonable price than $2,000 per shot. The
Avastin is about $100, but, ufortunately, afer several years didn't work
as well for me, necessitating closer shots. I though of settignup a cot
at the doctor's office and just living there:-(

Well, it is try at xome news. Again Merry Christmas.

Hi, well as a matter of interest, why do you use colons as your quoting
char, as I hear every one of them, which of course I don't with the >< type
ones
