Because Brenda Miller was convicted of having sex with children,
she was sent to prison Tuesday for the mandatory sentence – 25
years to life.
In Ohio, that is a possible sentence for adults who have sex
with children under age 13. So Hamilton County Common Pleas
Court Judge Jerome Metz, Jr., had no choice but to impose that
sentence against the 22-year-old Miller.
She was convicted Jan. 20 by a jury of two counts of rape. She
had sex with two 10-year-old boys in December 2009.
