Serious advice sought

When I met my 'wife' Marcia, I knew she had the potential to have a
weight problem ( her mother weighed over 350 lbs. ), but I never
expected this. She won't tell me her weight but I would guess close to
400lbs. Needless to say, she no longer sexually arouses me. I still
love her deeply and would never do anything to hurt her, but I can't
continue on like this. Does anyone have any legitimate suggestions?

Okay I’ll play along for laughs. If you knew the potential was there
then why did you marry her? As they say, if you want to see your wife
in 10 or 15 years just check out her mom. It doesn’t always hold true
but often enough it does. So talk to her and explain your feelings and
work it out. She probably already knows you aren’t attracted to her so
she shouldn’t be too surprised. Don’t fall for the old “I’ll lose
weight for you” because she has to do it for herself for it to be
effective.
I’d say in reality you are fucked. If you care about her as much as
you say then leaving her for something as superficial as weight gain
proves you to be a hypocrite. If you think back to your marriage vows
they probably included the words “for better or worse, sickness and in
health, for richer or poorer” and if they mean anything to you then
will shut your mouth and deal with it. If they don’t then you are a
weak whiny little shit and you are wasting her time as well as your
own. Marriage is a job and you have to work at it and like any job
worth doing it needs to be done right. So stop trolling and see to
your wife.

Sorry dear, but you're off base here. The man loves his wife despite the
fact that she's ballooned to 400 lbs. He's not asking her to lose any of
that lard, he ACCEPTS her the way she is. He's asking what can he do about
the fact that she's a sexual turn-off. Outside of booze, drugs, and pitch
darkness, I can't think of anything else that could possibly get him in the
mood to screw her. Do you have any bright ideas? It's easy to criticize
other suggestions.
