You might be right about them. But then again you aren't a real nudist
either since you are a dominatrix. Can't use nudity to make your client
feel vulnerable, humiliated, and submissive, and then adhere to the
principle that there is nothing humilitating about being without
clothes.
Being a nudist and being a dominatrix doesn't mix. A dominatrix is too
sexually minded ever to be able to separate nudity from sex. You can
never appreciate the joys of non sexual nudity.
Oh, *please*.

What? Anyway, the term is Naturist.
Surely, if a dom is a naturist, it just means that yes, they can appreciate
the great freedom and power associated with not wearing restrictive
clothing. Not much of a Dom if she is ruled by the sexuality of her body.
I think this is kind of not been thought through!

I think it's funny that a non-nudist tries to define who is and isn't a

Deleting the non-bdsm group from the crosspost...
Actually, I think it makes sense if interpreted narrowly.
*If* as a dom/domme you use a sub's nudity as a means
of making that sub feel "vulnerable, humiliated, and
submissive," then you run the risk of lessening the effect
by being nude yourself. OTOH, if you employ other means
of putting the sub into the desired mental state so that
disrobing is merely a task commanded in order to provide
access to desired body parts, then your own state of dress
is irrelevant. It all depends on what significance nudity has
in your particular methods.

Got a question for you Janet. As a Dominatrix do you have contempt
for your clients seeing them as sicko pervert weirdos?
In an article about dominatrixes, it said that the dominatrixes who the
reporter interviewed always thought of their clients as sickos for
their sexual perversions.
http://www.seattleweekly.com/news/0012/features-shuji.php
"It's funny how the women here talk about the men as pervs and weirdos.
Though they're fond of some of the clients-like the cleaning slave
who vacuums the dungeon in the nude-most they regard with distaste. "
I usually don't play along with someone who has issues but since it is
raining outside and I am almost out of margarita mix
I know several women who are dominatrixes and they are some of the most
caring people I know. you need to get out and actualy experiance
reallity for a change. or just keep on posting the drivel that you post
and we will just ignore you
witchsteve
> Got a question for you Janet. As a Dominatrix do you have contempt

Sorry if I was unclear: I'm not a pro-domme, just a dedicated amateur. And I
don't play with anyone for whom I feel contempt. I feel very sorry for
anyone who has to make a living working with people they don't respect.
Janet
I'm not Janet, but I'd expect a "Proper Dominatrix"[tm] to be delighted
that her clients _were_ kinky: it would be a bit boring if they were all
vanilla, don't you think...?
-dave w
I think that the Dominatrix doesn't care how vanilla the client is as
long as he pays her.
I think that the Dominatrix see their clients as sick pathetic perverts
but if she can make money off of their perversions, more power to her.
I believe her personal opinion of them is that they are sexual weirdos
and creeps.
Perhaps not, but it is usually used on a client. The Dominatrix
remains clothed which makes the client feel submissive. Also it hurts
more for the whip or paddle or cane or whatever to hit bare skin
directly instead of having the clothing soften the blow a bit.
Perhaps it's the clients who could never become nudists after
experiencing "submissive nudity:" But still since Dominatrixes spend
their day in a sexually minded business, they as well as all so called
"sex positive" (sexually perverted) people just don't have the ability
to switch from that so called "sex positive" mindset to a mindset that
can look at a naked body non-sexually.
Besides, it hurts the image of nudism when people like Dominatrixes get
involved with nudism. It hurts the "Family Friendly" image that it is
trying to promote.
Sex-positiveness is not the same thing as sexual obsession. Sex-positive
people tend to be around naked bodies a lot -- enough to separate nudity
from sex. It's people who don't have much experience with either nudity or
sex that get all steamed up over nudity.
> Besides, it hurts the image of nudism when people like Dominatrixes get

Well, if we acted like dominatrixes when we were in naturist environments,
that would indeed be inappropriate. But when I go to a naturist environment,
I'm there as me -- a portly middle-aged woman who happens to enjoy the
sensation of sunshine on skin. Whatever I might happen to enjoy sexually is
not relevant to that.
And how did you gain this wonderful insight?
The world being full of infinite variety, somewhere there is most
likely a submale who is looking for a domme with exactly that
level of contempt for him.
GeneK
It is interesting that neither Cyndiann nor Janet have responded about
how they personally feel about their clients.
?? Excuse me? I explained to you that I don't have clients -- I'm not a
professional. If you want to know how I personally feel about my play
partners, I either like them or love them or both, or else I wouldn't be
playing with them.
Janet
That's because neither of them have clients, they have friends. And
possibly lovers.
Besides, who wants to respond to somebody as obviously intolerant as you
are? If you won't even open your mind to the concept that maybe, just
maybe, folks who are into bdsm as professionals or regular joes alike
think of their partners are PEOPLE first who are neither sick nor
perverted nor sexual wierdos nor creeps, we have nothing to talk about.
You don't seem to grasp the fact that kinky people are healthy sexual
people. Until you at least admit to this possibility, the discussion is
pretty much over. We don't like being insulted, particularly by people
that demonstrably haven't got a clue about what they're insulting.
Whitewater
Oh, sorry. Thought you were a pro. It is interesting that Cyndiann
hasn't answered this question.
That is most likely because they have you killfiled like almost every
other sane and intelligent person/naturist here. Or have you not
figured that out yet?
I haven't done so just yet because despite the ignorant content I find
your posts somewhat amusing.

Wow, intolerant much? Clueless much?
In the interest of making smoke come out your ears, here's my
perspective on this. I spend a LOT of my time naked. Particularly at
home, and whenever possible in pools and other water, because I enjoy
the feel of water over my naked body. I also don't believe there's
anything inherently wrong about being nude. Granted, I have a body that
looks more like The Mother Goddess rather than nubile Aphrodite, but
nevertheless I have no shame being nude. I am, finally, after years of
working on my body image, comfortable in my own body.
Would you care to learn just how I got comfy enough to be nude? Why,
it's because I'm a submissive in the kinky lifestyle. And as a
submissive I spend a LOT of time naked in the company of other people
who are also comfortable enough in their own bodies to be naked among
each other. Being able to see these people actually enjoying their naked
state and not being ridiculed or reviled but empowered via being naked
made me understand that there is no reason for me to be ashamed. There
are a lot of folks in the kinky community who look like me (in fact, the
proportion of young and slim to older and not-so-slim is about 1 to 10)
and I was finally able to shed the fear and loathing I had for myself
without clothes, because I could see others who enjoyed not only being
naked, but seeing it in others.
This is a true story, by the way. I don't lie. Particularly not about my
life and my experiences. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting here typing
without any clothes on right now.
Anne, I need to let you know that the ratio of professionals to
non-professionals, in other words, regular joes and janes who are just
like you and me, in the kinky community is about (based on my own
personal local community) 6 to 2500. And that's only the *active* people
who are an active part of our community. I am sure there are at least
double the amount of non-professionals who are *not* in our community,
and I live in a city in the Midwestern USA -- not New York or somewhere
with a huge population. I know in the media the professional domina or
master is the only image of bdsm, so that often gives the misleading
appearance that kink is only about professional Domina or Masters. It's
not.
Kinky people are businessmen, doctors, lawyers, college teachers,
college students, artists, homemakers, CEO's, janitors, writers, taxi
drivers, retail workers, designers, and just about any other profession
you can name. They are gay, straight, transgendered, bi, or somewhere in
between. They are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles,
cousins, and grandparents. They are white, black, Asian, European,
American, dark skinned, light skinned, of all ethnicities and races.
Kinky people are just like you. We too live an alternative lifestyle
that is badly misunderstood by the world at large. I'm sure you've heard
the accusations that nudists are sick perverts who only want the chance
to grab, grope and fondle others, who take every chance they get to
expose themselves to others, who are dangerous to our children and ought
to be locked away and treated for their 'illness'. Well, kinky people
get the same sort of violent misunderstanding, hatred and fear. I don't
believe that nonsense about nudists. You shouldn't believe what you hear
about kink.
We who live alternative lifestyles should not hate and fear each other.
We should not lift our intolerant chins and look down our intolerant
noses at each other. We need to understand and respect each other,
because when they come gunning for us, we will need each other at our
collective backs.
Whitewater
Yeah, but in your case you deserve it.
Well, fuck you too. Can't you even be civil? Eh, never mind. Life is too
short.

Isn't nudity a way in BDSM to express submissiveness? Isn't it about
feeling less than human and deserving of the abuse you get. The reason
you are nude is because you are a slave and don't "deserve clothes".
Also, it is better for when you are whipped to be whipped on bare skin.
It hurts more. In BDSM nudity is all about ridicule, about feeling
ashamed, feeling submissive, feeling beneath, of less worth than your
masters, and most importantly felling expose and vulnerable.
That is a totally different mindset regarding being nude than you must
have for non sexual nudity.
Actually I hear that for some reason, Kinky people are usually Whites.
Don't exactly know why. Perhaps it is in the white genepool and not in
the other races.
So, unfortunately are pedophiles and rapists.
I've been wondering -- since I almost wrote the same thing re. your
response here -- if they mean another Janet, as it's cross-posted to 4
groups.
Or maybe you just responded too sensibly for them?
-- Troia
In and of itself, not necessarily. A nude person is not
automatically a submissive one. What makes the nudity
an expression of submission is that the person is nude
because someone else told him/her to be. If he/she put
on a Bozo the Clown costume on command it would have
exactly the same significance, but would be less
convenient (though possibly funnier).
GeneK
Funny thing, though, that nakedness can express submissiveness, but so
can the wearing of clothes. So is there something sick aobut the
wearing of clothes?
> Isn't it about
> feeling less than human and deserving of the abuse you get.
Uh, no; none of this is about *abuse*.
Period.
> The reason
> you are nude is because you are a slave and don't "deserve clothes".
Uh, no. None of this is about "deserving" or not deserving something.
One *may* be nude in relation to requirements of being a slave for a
certain Master who prefers it; then again, plenty of slaves do not go
about naked.
Or are you suggesting that they should also keep their clothes on during
sex, when I suspect almost all slaves *are* naked?
> Also, it is better for when you are whipped to be whipped on bare skin.
Well, yeah, then again so does being teased and aroused and kissed.
Don't know that I would care much for someone to kiss me or perform oral
sex on me while I wore a pair of jeans. Same for spanking, whipping,
any sort of erotic stimulation.
> It hurts more. In BDSM nudity is all about ridicule, about feeling

"Ridicule", no. Shame, if that is one's kink. Feeling submissive,
sometimes. Feeling "beneath", well, no, submissive<>beneath, as hard as
that is for you to grasp.
Feeling exposed and vulnerable? Sure, a lot of the time, what a turn
on. Nice way to get in touch with some feelings too.
> That is a totally different mindset regarding being nude than you must
> have for non sexual nudity.

Yup, it is. And wearing a sexy dress puts me in a completely different
mind-set than wearing jeans and a flannel shirt, or any of a whole range
of other clothing options.
Being naked, and being aware of it during sexual moments, does not in
any way contravene the possiblity of being naked in other circumstances
with other responses.

Anna? Why is a straight laced intollerant conservative person like you
trolling bondage groups????? Seems you need to tear other folks down
to feel better about yourself. Is your life really so pathetic?
When did you become "Anna/nw/Larry/Jeff/Max's" Therapist?
> Isn't nudity a way in BDSM to express submissiveness?
It can be. It can also be a way to express a feeling of power and
freedom. The only way to know what it means to an individual is to
ask that individual.
> Isn't it about
> feeling less than human and deserving of the abuse you get.
It can be for some people. It can also be about feeling incredibly
powerful.
Not everyone into BDSM feels that they are deserving of abuse or
humiliation. I know I certainly do not feel that way, nor do I wish
to abuse or humiliate anyone else.
> The reason
> you are nude is because you are a slave and don't "deserve clothes".
I'm not a slave or a submissive. Unfortunately, I also don't have
the budget to enjoy the sort of clothes I feel I deserve (wearable
art, which can be as expensive as or more expensive than haute
couture). I don't think anyone has to do or be anything to "deserve"
clothes, particularly clothing appropriate to the climate they live
in (I live in an area where winters are very cold).
> Also, it is better for when you are whipped to be whipped on bare skin.
> It hurts more.
A lot of things feel better when nude.
Last year I spent three months hospitalized for necrotizing
fasciitis. Where I live (Iowa, in the middle of the USA), summers
are hot and humid--I've always preferred to be nude as often as
possible. Winters in Iowa are pretty darn cold, it can drop as low
as 30 below zero F, so nudity is not quite so appealing. Anyway, I
didn't realize until I got home again how constraining it felt to be
constantly clothed, even when sleeping. There's no sleeping nude in
that hospital!
After spending three months constantly clothed, even in my sleep, I
realized again how much more powerful I feel when I'm nude. I've
always preferred skinny dipping to wearing a bathing suit for
exactly that reason--all my power goes into moving me through the
water, none of it is wasted on stretching my bathing suit to
accomodate my movements.
As for hurting more--you say that like you think it is a bad thing.
Would you tell an ultra-marathoner that they were in some way bad or
wrong because their chosen sport causes them more pain than running
a marathon or a 10K? People perceive sensation and process sensation
in very different ways; some people prefer more intense sensation
than others.
Would you criticize someone who prefers hot sauces made with
habanero peppers to hot sauces made with jalapenos because the
habanero hot sauce has more burn to it? I think reasonable people
just chalk it up to individual differences in taste. Some people
like really, really hot peppers, some people don't.
> In BDSM nudity is all about ridicule, about feeling
> ashamed, feeling submissive, feeling beneath, of less worth than your
> masters, and most importantly felling expose and vulnerable.
Again, for some people but not all. I feel powerful when I'm nude. I
feel revealed, yes--but powerfully revealed. I feel like I'm
throwing off the facade that I wear most of the time, a facade that
conceals the fullness of my power. I actually feel *less* vulnerable.
And again, so far as I can tell, I don't have a submissive bone in
my body. The thought of submitting to someone does nothing for me.
The thought of someone assuming I would submit makes me laugh. And
if anyone ever lays a hand on me to try to force me to submit,
they'd better be prepared to draw back a bloody stump.
> That is a totally different mindset regarding being nude than you must
> have for non sexual nudity.
You do realize, don't you, that you are setting up a straw man
argument? You describe what you assume (erroneously) to be true and
then state a conclusion based on your assumptions.
If I were to do the same to you, I might say that you clearly have
no idea what it is like to be a fully sexual adult human being and
are incapable of expressing yourself sexually in any healthy way.
M. Shirley Chong
I see - so "nudism" implies that you have to have a
very specific "non-sexual" mindset about being nude?
Sounds like One-True-Way-ism to me!
-dave w
And some of them are arseholes like you.
Smiler
Not necessarily -- in the case of a nudist who happens to also be into
BDSM, certainly not. There is no monolithic BDSM analysis of nudity
that codes it any particular way. Instead, it -- and anything else --
has everything to do with how the people in question feel about it.
For example, I'm a switch but I tend to dominate. I also tend to prefer
not to wear clothes. It's entirely about my comfort, and nothing to do
about whether I deserve clothes -- I deserve to wear exactly what I want.
You are misinformed.
Of course it is a troll. However, some useful discussion can still take
place.
Of course ... the quoted line was not what I would describe as "useful
discussion", was it?
Just one of those days I've given in too much to temptation.

Anna, if the client were vanilla they would not be seeking a dom in
the first place
The pro dom has to hope for a kinky client or they would not make any
money. A real professional, of any type, should treat a client with
respect (even the ones seeking humilliation/verbal abuse). Maybe some
dom's are jaded or just regular prostitutes that pose as dom's to
increase their client base.
Every pro I have ever met was also a lifestyle player and no different
from the non pro's at the play party or munch. Also when the topic
came up all said that they would recommend another pro if a potential
client came wanting a type of play that was out of sync with their
comfort level.

Not always.

Not always. Some times its about the illusion that a naked person is
vulnerable, some times its about pure access to the fun parts, and
some times its just convenient.
The reason
>you are nude is because you are a slave and don't "deserve clothes".
Not always.
A dom/me can use their own nude body to hmmm :) torment a
clothed/naked/bound/unbound submissive.
>Also, it is better for when you are whipped to be whipped on bare skin.
>It hurts more.
If "hurting more" were the criteria then the sub would be wetted down
too. "The sting of the lash is proportional to the splash on the ass"
or so I have heard. It also prevents accidental damage from being
worse as an injury can be noticed sooner. A slap on a bare ass also
sounds nicer than one muffled by cloths. You can also see the pretty
marks left by the toy when the sub is naked. :)
In BDSM nudity is all about ridicule, about feeling
>ashamed, feeling submissive, feeling beneath, of less worth than your
>masters, and most importantly felling expose and vulnerable.
Not always. See above... It is sometimes about the dom being dressed
and the sub being undressed and therefore vulnerable. If the sub is
shamed by being naked chances are they would not want to be a nudest
anyway. In a nudest environment everyone is equally undressed.
>
>That is a totally different mindset regarding being nude than you must

You have just refuted your own point.
Yes it is a different mind set, but you don't "seem" to have a problem
separating sexual nudity from non sexual nudity. So why is it such a
leap for you to consider that any BDSM'er can not separate BDSM nudity
from non BDSM nudity?
Some times BDSM is about erotic play and sex, some times its about
physical sensation, some times its about power exchange, some times
its about the illusions of helplessness and lack of free will, some
times its about being dressed up in a costume/fetish gear, some times
its about being nude and "vulnerable" and some times its all or none
of the above.

I'm sorry, Anna, we've not met previously, as I've been away from SSBB
for a while. I'm glad to see that someone has finally set a qualified
person up as Arbiter of All BDSM and Sexuality Procedures. Lacking
someone to tell us exactly how to do things, we've been going all over
the place and domination has gone all to hell. Did you know that some
dominants of both sexes actually get naked? Can you imagine? Even
worse--some of their submissives get to remain clothed, though many
actually claim to prefer baring their bottoms *because* the paddle
hurts more that way!

See what I mean? People have *completely* lost touch with the idea
that anything but completely vanilla sex between a heterosexual couple
is perverse and terrible, and that even liking *that* is filthy.
Thanks be to the Gods for sending you to us! Now we can get it right,
and be completely free of any enjoyment of the appearance of the human
body, and we can experience the pleasure of being ashamed of what we do
with it.
Boy, we were really close to disaster there--you got here just in time!

Nice to see you again, Lynn!

I feel all better now, though.

I really don't think that weight has anything to do with it. Most of us

I don't find nudity sexual. I appreciate that some don't want to or
can't have that mindset and those people should not be nudists.
So you have sex with your clothes on?
Must make it awkward!

Who voted you the judge of who should and who should not be nudists?
You seem to know nothing about BDSM (except lies and untruths that you've
'heard')
What qualifies you to be the judge of BDSM?
Why do you even care what others do in the privacy of their own homes?
Are you some sort of pervert???
Smiler
You seem to be implying that there's one particular way to go about being
a "nudist", and that involves having a proper "non-sexual" attitude toward
nudity.
Keep in mind that many of the posters here in s.s.b-b would think
of it as a compliment if you call us something like "kinky sex
pervert" even though it seems like you say that like you think
it's a bad thing... after all, we can sexualize common construction
supplies, social interactions, and household utensils... why shouldn't
nudism fall under the spell of our twisted imagination?
-dave w
And your qualified to judge who can and can not separate being nude
and non sexual, from being nude and sexual? Or is it the fact that you
can not understand what it is that some of us do that justifies your
narrow view? You cant claim it is not a narrow view when you make
unsuported statments like "Because she is a sicko sex pervert." After
all that a view that a lot of people have about nudists too.

Nudists are constantly under attack from certain conservative hate
groups who deliberately play on peoples' fears to get local laws
passed that criminalize simple nudity. They propose model laws that
they know do not stop the sex trade but that turn family nudists into
criminals if we practice our beliefs, however apart from others, even
in our own homes. They are facists, like the Taliban.
They use tactics like getting social services to forcibly remove
nudist children from their nudist parents under the guise of
protecting them. These same tactics were used to take children away
from Quaker families, for example, in Colonial America.
They claim simple nudity cannot be non-sexual. Some troll rec.nude.
Keeping the reality of family nudism distinct from _their_ sexual
fantasies is important in our being able to defend against these
people. We need you to keep your fantasies distinct as well or they
will hold your play up as an example that discounts all our hard work.

They will use any excuse they can to attack us. All we ask is to keep
the adult play distinguished in the real world from real Nudism.
Thanks.

And thank *you*, for a sane and reasoned tone in a debate that otherwise,
well, isn't.
I know many BDSMers who are also nudists, and many nudists who are also
BDSMers. I think there is clear understanding that BDSM and other sexual
behaviors are not appropriate in family-oriented nudist environments.
Please understand that we are also in the same boat -- BDSMers lose child
custody over their BDSM interests even when it cannot be proved that those
interests have ever been enacted in the child's presence or with the child's
awareness. Puritanism hurts us all, all of us who try to live in ways that
do not conform to outdated and damaging stereotypes.
IOW, we're all in the same boat, and turning against one another hurts us
all. Thanks again for your clarity and sanity.
So, let me get this straight: people whose sexuality you find
offensive, DESERVE violence and hatred?

Cindiann sought who out? Those of us on rec.nude? I'm pretty sure she
posts as a nudist there. So, how exactly did she seek "us" out, AND,
how does that justify your trolling of bondage groups?
-T.
Those same groups are attacking anyone that is comfortable with
sexuality as well, including those involved in BDSM. They don't have the
luxury of separating adult play from their kink because it's all one and
the same.
Too many conservative nudists want to pretend that they would not be a
part of the BDSM world, or swingers, or anything sexual. Ignoring your
sexuality is not the way to go for nudists. As you mention, the real
solution is to show that they don't affect one another and aren't related.
But we need to take it a few steps farther. Instead of pretending all
nudists are vanilla we need to step up and say it's ok to play in the
bedroom, just as the BDSMers do. It's ok to take your imagination and
fantasies and use them in sexual ways. The conservative right needs to
stay the hell out of our bedrooms and private lives.
Some are afraid to mention anything other than the most vanilla lives on
nudist venues because they are afraid that it will scare people away
from trying nudism. What they don't realize is that they are scaring
away people who are comfortable with their sexuality. They look at the
overzealous rule making and strict policies at local clubs and would be
afraid to relax and be themselves at a club.
Of course, a few trolls will jump on this statement and pretend those
folks don't know how to act appropriately at nudist facilities, as if we
are not complex beings and don't know how to act in what arena. Skip it,
we are already so far ahead of such trash statements.

Yep.

I think most people do this anyway. I question using nudism as a
framework for discussing sexual issues.

Could you give me an example?
Of course not, and that's not what I was trying to say. Separating it
from other parts of your life is not the same as ignoring it.

Not on most nudist websites. I had someone complain because when the
topic was piercings they'd posted a couple links to sites about piercing
and the moderators removed them. (for instance)
>I question using nudism as a
> framework for discussing sexual issues.
I've seen some nudist sites that condemn people who post they are gay
and looking for other gay nudists. They don't see that the gays would
like to hang with other gays just like couples like hanging with other
couples. They aren't saying they are gay because they are looking to get
picked up, they are saying it to attract those with similarities to
themselves.
And I'm not necessarily talking about full blown discussions on sexual
issues. Let's take Cheri and her Yahoo groups as an example. She combs
through the Yahoo profiles of all members and eliminates any people from
the group that might have something not totally vanilla on their
profiles. This means that any nudists who happen to be into something
sexual like group masturbation or whatever and mention that ever so
slightly on their profiles aren't even allowed in to many nudist
discussions that she runs. I wouldn't be allowed on any of them with my
background in BDSM for instance and let's face it, there should be no
doubt in anyone's mind that I'm truly a nudist.

I get a lot of email from such people, and they find my nudist sites and
say the same thing. Those are the ones you'd be more likely to find at
nude beaches where they feel unfettered by the excessive rules found at
many clubs, if they get involved at all.
I can remember one email from a couple that were afraid to go to a
nudist club because they were afraid of doing something to break the
rules. Some clubs still have strict rules regarding touching and I have
even heard of one that doesn't allow hand holding in this day and age. I
encourage them to look a bit deeper and I remind them that some clubs
are much more lenient with touching than others are. Some allow nude
dancing and some don't. Some allow dressing up sexy for those dances and
others don't. What it amounts to is that each club has it's own
personality and rules and so I try to lead them to the ones that would
fit them better.
I'm in contact now with a couple who just joined Your Nude Life that
could have fallen into this trap if they weren't nudists first. He's a
well known past activist for nudism and they now run a pay site that
features her nude and involved in sexcapades. They've managed to see
that it's ok to be positive about sex and also be nudists.
Matter of fact I believe that until the general population comes to
terms with their sexuality, nudism won't become mainstream.
cyndiann
I have sex with my clothes off but it isn't the nudity that turns me
on. It's the sex.
Do you get turned on taking a shower?
That's the point. If you find househild utensils and construction
supplies sexual, then of course you would find nudism sexual. You can't
help but to. You find practically everything sexual.
That is why you don't belong at a real nudist park.
The only way we would be in the same boat is if you considered
Nudism/Naturism as being a sexual activity which we do not.
Whereas BDSM is a sexual activity.
Nudists. Nudism when she doesn't belong in it because she is a sexually
minded Domintrix.
So you see no sexual beauty in the human body? You are only mentally
turned on by your partner but the physical act does not arouse you at all?
As for "It's the sex", just what do you define as "the sex"? Some
mental act that has no physical component?
-- Troia
That sure cuts out a lot of the population ... you know, everyone but
the sexually-repressed prudes.
-- Troia
So,again, anyone who enjoys sex shouldn't be a "nudist"?
Only the sexually repressed should be nudists, those who hate the
physical act or think that sex only reluctantly involves the body?
-- Troia
That would depend on my frame of mind, It can be very sensual! you
should try it sometime.
Cheeky Girl
so to be considered a "real" nudist, you can't think about sex? Do you
honestly think so one dimensional?
Cheeky Girl
How can you tell someone what they can or can't be?
Sounds like you are just afraid of your sexuality, so you hide behind a
label.
" I am nudist, therefore I have no carnal desires"
What a crock!
Cheeky Girl
> So people who enjoy sex don't belong at a "real nudist park"?
No. They are welcome in a "real nudist park" as they are normal.
They aren't allowed, however, in an ANNA ("American Non Nudist Association)
nudist park.
Terry ":-P" Wood
> So,again, anyone who enjoys sex shouldn't be a "nudist"?
No, anyone who doesn't enjoy sex should be a textile republican.
> Only the sexually repressed should be nudists, those who hate the

No, the sexually repressed and those who hate the physical act or think
that sex only reluctantly involves the body should be a USENET troll.
Terry ":-P" Wood
> " I am nudist, therefore I have no carnal desires"

> What a crock!
Seriously. If nudists were like this we'd go to nunneries, not nudist
camps. Pay no attention to "Anna". "She" claims to "technically" not be a
nudist anyway. Clearly "she" doesn't speak for anyone but "herself".
Nudists are normal people with normal desires. We simply aren't addicted
to clothing. That's the real difference between us and textiles. Beyond
that, you'll find that nudists, like everyone else, come in all shapes,
sizes and flavors. The only real thing we have in common is our lack of
desire to wear clothing when we don't have to.
Terry "Troll Busters" Wood
There are plenty of people who do not consider it so.
I had my first orgasm in the shower.
Oh, I see you have a hand-held.
-- Troia
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that!
Still, your posts are enjoyable even so.
Perhaps you could train the other sexually-repressed prudes to lighten
up a bit?
-- Troia
You have sex with your clothes off.
Then, for you, nakedness is a neccessary part of sex.
It's the sex that turns you on, but you don't find nakedness sexual.
Some wierd reasoning there!
You still haven't answer the other part of my previous post.
Why does it bother you what others do in the privacy of their own homes?
Are you some sort of pervert?
>
> Do you get turned on taking a shower?
Depends if there's anyone else there, who it is and what I feel like.
Smiler
Do you find males sexually attractive? (you've already admitted to having
sex).
Aren't there any males at the nudist clubs you go to?
You can't help but to find them sexual.

Well, there are folks here who would disagree with you about that -- but as
I don't happen to be one of them, we'll let it pass.
However. I spend an average of one or two hours a week doing BDSM (or having
any kind of sex, for that matter). The other 160-plus I spend sleeping,
working, eating, reading, playing with my dogs, talking on the phone,
watching TV, exercising, housekeeping, posting on the 'Net, writing,
driving, shopping, socializing, grooming myself... probably just about
exactly what you do with your time when you're not having sex.
When I go to a family-oriented nudist environment, it's to do all those
other things (well, most of them -- the place I like doesn't have TV,
telephones or easy Internet access). I have other places in which I do BDSM,
such as my bedroom here at home.
If you met me at your favorite nudist place, I'd look to you like a
moderately overweight, rather matronly middle-aged woman with a short
haircut and one handsome tattoo. You would not know that I was a BDSMer
unless I chose to share that information with you, which I would have no
reason to do.
You have undoubtedly met, socialized with and enjoyed the company of many
BDSMers both inside and outside clothing-optional environments -- it's a
statistical certainty. Your mother, your child's teacher, your auto mechanic
or the mayor of your town might be a BDSMer. So might be the person you're
chatting with in the hot tub at your next clothing-optional gathering. If
you truly think hanging out with BDSMers is harmful, hermithood is your only
choice.

I get the feeling that Max/NW/Jeff/Anna is already embracing hermithood.
As far as we can tell, "they" know nothing of actual naturism, never having
experienced it.
However, this hermithood doesn't include abstaining from the Internet, much
