does anyone have the _Welcome Back Kotter_ theme running?

Today is not your day.
Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

life is very good. :) actually my earworm defense line is
really strong. once one starts to get going i run Cyndi Lauper's
_Girls Just Wanna Have Fun_ and then i can bop that over to a
song of hers that i do like _Time After Time_ and then it
doesn't matter. if the first line doesn't work i can go for
the real thing and put on the _Best of Blood Sweat and Tears_.
i have never had an earworm that can stand up to that.

i don't know. why do you? there is no criticism of you
anywhere above. did you ever watch "welcome back, kotter"?
songbird is, btw, given to non-sequiturs; zie likes play-
ing with words and concepts.
the "bastard" is in reference to songbird mentioning the
earworm theme, it also has nothing to do with you saying
"hello".
unless you remember charlie, he probably doesn't remember
you at all, since he was absent for a long time. ergo,
he's got no reason to chastise you. for what?
>Guess next time I will just keep my mouth shut.
no, the next time you will hopefully not take people tea-
sing each other as a personal affront. if you were ever
here for any length of time (i am sorry, but i don't re-
member you either; did you post under another name then?),
you might want to remember the general tenor of this group.
you know, rough-n-tumble. :-)
that said, welcome. what's been going on with you?

If it's any comfort, I don't actually remeber you at all. ;-)

and i've always been in love with Mrs. Kotterrrr, like Horshack,
i pined for her. (i can still hear his voice and Vinnie's
voice. to think John Travolta would grow up like this?)

*teehee* poor Charlie (crap, i can't remember if C. will be
peeved by the use of his name as such, or if i must always name
him Charles?)

nada.

i hope not. i remembered your few posts from a while
ago saying how nice it was to find a group that holds
conversations instead of chat rooms. so it was quite
simple of me to say welcome back. :)

yeah, if i wanted to get on her case, i'd have done it
more directly. like saying go away or something. :) (like
have i done that to anyone of late? ghu i must be slipping
or something? has someone been sneaking happy pills into
my birdfud?)

Anything except "late for dinner."
("Charlie" is the preferred form for general friendly use; I tend to
avoid "Chuck" because (a) my uncle Charles uses that, and (b) I can't
hear it without an echo of a preceding "up". Technical publications I
do under "Charles R.".)
