How reliable are they, and how quickly does one receive the merchandise?

I don't know about merchandise, but their Web-site is a rip-off.

They make you pay to read stories that are available for free
elsewhere, and which they don't have permission to display on their
site.

I assume that everything else is as much of a rip-off.

If you care to e-mail them every week asking for fulfillment of your
order after they charged your credit-card immediately you should order
with them. Keep this e-mail process going for 8-10 weeks and you may
finally receive your order! So yes they are reliable but ....

I have never had any problems with Raven Hill. I've ordered maybe 8 videos
from them. They've all been fine and arrived within a month of ordering.

However, I think I am really lucky in this regard because of all the problems
other people have had. And my enjoyment of their videos (and I do enjoy them
even though there is no sex ever, and the sets are lame) does not in anyway
condone what they have done with their 'member' section.

I think it is reprehensible that they would steal peoples work and then SELL
it to other people! Ridiculous!

I called the Florida depoartment of consumer affairs. Only one
official complaint has been filed against Ravenhill Studios. It was
for telemarketing in 2000. If enough people filed official complaints
that would put an end to their bullshit. They'd either have to
produce or go out of business. The consumer affair's telephone number
is (850)488-2221. The web address is http://www.800helpfla.com.

You're right. But a lot of people are hesitant to file official complaints
against "adult oriented" companies, or even talk to their credit card companies
about reversing fraudulent/inflated/otherwise uncool charges. That's part of
how so many truly scamtastic phone sex companies managed to make such a killing
in the 90s...

I ordered one of the "package sets", they charged my account twice for it,
only reversed one when I complained, and I have yet to receive the videos
despite the order being placed months ago.

Ditto, I would assume it is easier for a company to just fill and send out
the orders and have not any hassle. Butt, that ain't the way they do it.
You make an order and pester them for delivery.
