You know what, I don't normally get involved in flame wars and the like, they're
boring and irrelevant to hot red bums and loving people and sexy stories that
make us hard or wet, but LadiKath, you're a *real* pain in the butt.
I haven't talked to Yuroba at all as far as I can remember, I haven't
participated much in the group lately at all due to RL commitments, but she's
sassy and sexy and funny and did not deserve the bloody irritating,
sanctimonious and gratuitous lectures that LadiKath delivered.
Sure, Yuroba fired back, but then she thought there was agreement to leave well
enough alone. But, no, LadiKath can't let sleeping dogs lie. Like some others on
this group, she has to have the last, absolutely final word to justify her
self-righteous blatherings.
People might think that I shouldn't say anything, and maybe I shouldn't, but I'm
sick of legitimate queries and thoughtful responses degrading into the sort of
crap that LadiKath goes on about. I *don't* care about her problems, her e-mail
Doms that don't respond, her on-going child raising experiences... I just don't
care.
What I do care about is that she manages to wear people down by her incessant
witterings until they find it necessary to leave (even if only temporarily).
It's worse than that idiot rabbi or sock-puppets or Zodiac, they can be plonked
in the kill file.
LadiKath, piss off and grow up and learn how to play with others nicely. And
this is the important bit, don't think that the rest of the world *needs* the
benefit of your wisdom.
Frustrated,
Wailer

When you come back, there will be tens of thousands of posts to get through,

The ng sometimes brings out the negative side in people (me, for instance), and
you have had an especially good (bad) antagonizer. There is a lot of

Come back, re-read the posts you have not sent yet. If you still like what

IrishWinks, wondering if she bumped 'Roba out the #1 spot
Good try, Irishwinks, but I don't think so. Not for the groove spanking list,
anyway. This little remark just landed you on the ENEMA list, my latest thing.
So bend over, you're next.
Is it time for another list? Yeah, I think so. So here are the top ten
recipients of a groove strappin' for Swen
1. Debbie Ann. Why? No reason is needed, really, but I have one anyway.
It's that name. Debbie Ann. So, ummmm, innocent sounding. That name just
begs for a good workout with the groove strap.
2. Mija. For actually speaking to me in #overlap last night. No one ever
speaks to me there, it's like I have leprosy.
3. Gillian82. This goes back a ways. Your gonna get it for all that sissy
stuff about keeping it quiet on your cruise. "Ohhhh, it's too loud." Well,
the groove strap will produce PLENTY of noise to make up for the cruise.
4. RPG's Joni. Congratulations, I didn't forget you this time. I TOLD you'd
make it sooner or later.
5. Domino, for being British and for posting those pics to ABPES.
6. Casey, for saying I look like a Perv. You don't know me well enough to be
giving me a compliment like that, but thanks anyway.
7. huny. For those great posts to ABPES and because you spell your name lower
case. That alone is usually enough to make the list.
8. Di (discrete1) For totally blowing me off when I wanted to take the test.
Now NO ONE will ever know what kind of personality I have because I aint going
NEAR that web page now.
9. Greg. This one is theoretical only. for having your first RL session
while I am stuck with Mrs. V.
10. Mrs Mish, 'cause this is what I would have had you do had our (or mine,
anyway) Superbowl dreams come true.
If you did not make this list try checking the enema list soon to be released.

Hey Pam,
I'm with you. I hate it when I make the "B" list. Blackwell always manages to
exclude me off "The Best Dressed" and even "The Worst Dressed". Missed all the
lists of Fat Boy Rush and even Drudge missed me on all his lists. Now here
comes Swen with his A and B lists and if there's one I don't need right now is
Swen's B list. I live in a little fishing village amongst seagulls that fly in
swams. Talk about not needing anything close to enemas it is new car owners

never worry about UFO's around here. It is always identified and to be blunt,

This is a really lovely post. I know there are people whose
feeling make them beg someone to stay when their heart is asking
for a little space, but as someone who has had to leave (despite
begging others to stay) for my own mental balence I have to say
I do understand.
People come to SSS for a lot of reasons. Some just post story after
wonderful story and don't enter into discussions, others play and
discuss only rarely. Some post advice and debate. Most do a
combination of the above. And a few (gladly) post only to cause
discord. What has worked for me when I've found myself feeling
more unhappy then happy about the group is to step back and remember
why I'm here. When that stops working, I go away for a while and
just read stories that authors are kind enough to send me. I always
come back and always will.
I'm not sure if webtv offers you a filter, but that can work. So
can just walking away and ignoring whoever is bothering you.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I have nothing but respect for
your choice here. And you've avoided the first mistake of people
leaving the group...
... never ever say "I'm never coming back" or "I'm leaving forever."
<grin> Though people who say that *always* come back faster... if they
leave at all.

Ladikath, my tormenting cactus, your comments to 'Roba were insulting and IMO
were intended to be insulting. If you genuinely believe they were not
insulting you have a very, very grave, perhaps clinical, problem in
self-perception.
>Realize too that if you start something, like calling someone cold, and it

Mood swings, little scorpion of the southland, are clinical features which can
be treated with meds, or sometimes even with a nice shower. They are not,
however, an excuse for insulting someone or chasing that person all over town
with barbs and verbal venom.

You will note, my wee fire ant, that Roba didn't piss off anyone else; instead,

your plain ole garden variety weedy obsessive nastiness was ok?

Wailer posted about being frustrated and that frustration spurring him to
involve himself in a flame war. This most recent iteration of someone posting
very sad personal information while at the same time -- or very shortly
thereafter -- attacking another poster has got me thinking about justice and
fair play here in the newsgroup.
Every single person who reads or posts to this newsgroup has sad and painful
aspects of his or her life. None of us can ever know what these may be, but
it's a pretty safe assumption that human existence involves a measure of
complexity and pain. Some people want to share their illness and griefs
publicly with the newsgroup. Others choose to draw strength and comfort only
from friends and family. Clearly, both paths are legitimate and which one any
of us chooses to follow is a personal matter. In my judgment, though, it's a
mistake to assume that people who choose not to post their sorrows don't have
them.
For this reason and others, it deeply offends my sense of fair play when
someone posts publicly about illness, disappointments in spanking or love,
recovery, etc. while at the same time attacking or harrassing another person.
It's only human to want to "lay off" someone who is very visibly in pain, but
when this combination of "I'm so sad/ You're so bad" repeats itself over and
over, it begins to feel like a very tacky form of manipulation.
And it leaves the person being attacked in an incredibly difficult position.

MollyO,
I agree with you to a point. Yet on the other hand, when a poster
steps out of character so far (as was the case with the person you
chose to make an example of in your post) as to post a flame when
they *never* have in years of posting (at least to my memory),
an explaination given after the fact of why seems to me entirely
appropriate. Not to mention that the person they were flaming
uses the same tactic and has repeatedly.
I like consistancy in people (my own hang-ups etc.) and so when
someone does something they haven't done before, I want to know
why. But your point of it being very unfair for people to attack
others on this group because of their own personal hurt is legitimate.
I'm just not sure what to do about it. There are people on this
group, as you say, suffering from a great deal of personal pain.
I don't want them to go away and deal with their hurt in private
(though oddly that's my own pattern). I dearly love some of them --
they've helped me grow in ways they may never fully understand.
I want to be able to send some tiny smile of comfort or cheap offer
to help if I can.
There have also been times when other members of the group seem
to over-react to one person being criticized on the group because
they know information not available to others. Remembering that
we all have a lot going on that's unseen (deaths, illnesses,
violence, recovery, broken relationships, you name it) is never
a bad idea. The under-currents here can sometimez make me feel
swept away.
That said,
I don't like people using victim status to justify hurting others.
I don't like emotional blackmail. And I don't forgive people who
hurt others over and over. I'm not capable of doing so, and
honestly I don't want to be. So what's my point?
I dunno. <g> I guess that I *can* understand how these outbursts
happen sometimes. And, frequently they aren't without justice.
Being hurt doesn't give someone the right to be hurtful. But
once in a while it makes it understandable. Maybe criticism
should be reserved for those who make this a pattern.
Peace,
Mija - who would never tell someone she's arguing with where
she hurts for fear of being kicked there. <wry smile>

Yuroba, I hope you don't mind us playin' in your thread. One of the things
I mostly love about this group is the way 'heavy' threads often work their
way around to fun and/or silliness. It doesn't mean we don't care about
you or don't sympathise with your frustration. It just means (IMO, of
course) that there is an irrepressible thread of fun and caring here that
manages to keep going and finds a way to wind to and through almost
everything, even a lot of the hard stuff. I think this is mostly a Good
Thing but, of course, YMMV. Anyway, I mean no disrespect to you or your

I am always happy to pleasure you, my dear.<g> (But do please hasten to
reassure me that your *sigh* didn't have any deep hidden meanings or I may
begin to suffer from some sort of anxiety complex, since the term seems
somehow to have now gotten classed in with such gems as dipshit and asswipe
and clueless fuck.;-)

Ooooooooo!<squeallysquirm> Would that be a *long* spanking starting with a
wonderful warm up, getting progressively harder and harder while working
gradually down through layers of lovely fabric to my plump bare squirming
stinging red behind and then spanking and spanking and spanking my
beautiful butt with hands and paddles and brushes and kitchen utensils and
crops and straps and canes while I wiggle and writhe and moan and
squeal?<shiversquirmmeltgeezwhere'smyvibrator?>
Hugs,
Rosy... who loves makin' Domino laugh... she has the most _delicious_ and
sexy laugh....<g>
P.S. Ahem.<squirmagain> I am gonna log off now and disappear into my
boudoir for a few minutes... I'll be thinkin' of ya!<very naughty g>

Well, I didn't think it was _that_ bad.;-) Wailer is just such a sensitive

Hmmmmmm... I've got a nice sturdy bathbrush (had a nice hairbrush, but
Laura cracked it over Jessie's butt<giggle>). Want some help?<eg>
Hugs,
Rosy... desperate enough to <perk> a little just from the words 'brush up'.;-)

Nothing of the kind!!!! I was raised in a good catholic country, and
everyone knows 'bloody' is a corrupiton or 'By Our Lady' (reverring of
course to the BVM, so I maintain that my use of the word does *not*
mean I'm a borg (*or* a brit :-)

Well, certainly a (hair)brush should be involved one way or the other. <neg>

Oh great, now I'm the Assville resident SNAG, just when I was about to let my
toppy side step out and play.
<grumblejusttryingtobecivicandniceandallIgetare*compliments*dammit>
Where's the fear, the cowering, the eyes widening with awe as I order "knickers
down"?
Wailer
I dunno - will ya settle for eyes softening, knees going weak with desire, and
a softly drawn breath, followed by *Yes, Sir*?
Joni - hopin' someone answers ya that way <ggg> an' btw - what's a SNAG?

Probably, since I don't remember it either!

Ummmmm... have you tried DLynn's house (I think she likes that fear stuff)?;-)

That would be closer to my sort of response (the warm squiggly clenchy
feeling in my middle would be less apparent;-), except I often prefer
'dear' to 'sir', though for some reason I do like 'ma'am' sometimes, when
appropriate, but 'sir' feels so militaristic.<g>
Hugs,
Rosy... who did not, in her earlier staement, in _any_ way mean to imply
that Wailer would not be a very firm and powerful top... only very strong
and self assured men can afford the special kind of sensitivity he's got,
IMO.<g>
Who else has felt the sting of the FULLER heavy plastic bath brush?
Off topic, H E double toothpicks!
Joni - muttering something about the FPBB Papa has - for the unitiated it
stands for F******Plastic Bath Brush....and it's earned it's reputation...

Domino,
It's not nice to make people ROFL in a computer lab that has other people in it.
