Those of you who visit unseemly.org have an idea
what it looks like, because I've made a picture of it
the background image for the main index page. It's
even almost on-topic if you'll think of it as a 'before'
image. I'm no great judge of art, but if you like
realism and pretty women and good composition and meticulous
attention to detail, you'll like Recline on White. But
you can't have it 'cause it's mine.

IANAT <g> nor even enthused about viewing most images, but even I can
appreciate the beauty and eroticism in this painting. I think it is
no accident either that she holds her hair aside in that way.
Thanks for making mention of it (I hadn't seen your site before,
either, and will enjoy working my way through your stories.)

Yes, very selfish of you!
... and thank you for sharing it with us. :)
I am not art expert either, which you will be made quite obvious after
hearing this little memory I am going to relay.,., ::cheesy grin::
Years ago, my husband (this was right before we got married) was just
getting his first apartment, so we had been shopping for towels, dishes
and things at the farmer's market. Parked outside the market were
sometimes box trucks that belonged to furniture vendors. I guess they
didn't want to purchase space in the market - low overhead. :) One of
these guys had a bunch of black velvet paintings leaning against his
truck. My husband and I parked or 76 cutlass, and walked up to look at
a horse painting, passing over the Velvet Elvis and the dogs playing
cards embroidered on a carpet.
We decided on the horse on black velvet, thinking it would look great
over his bedroom chest...it came framed and everything! So the guy
motioned to my husband that he had a "special" collection inside the
truck. A few moments later Herbs walked over to me, all excited, that
there were nudes on black velvet!
So, he had narrowed it down to two.. they were obviously painted by the
same artist, because it was the same girl. One had the girl facing
forward, the other had the girl facing the other way - and she had the
most beautiful ass!
My husband asked which one I liked, and I said the one of the girl's
behind. After debating with himself for a few moments, he decided on
the other one. ::sigh::
We hung the horse up in the living room, and he hung the girl with
breasts up in the bedroom.
His uncle came to check out his apartment later that day and remarked
that once we got married he wouldn't be "allowed" to keep that painting
on the wall. I took that as a challenge, and that painting has
remained on our bedroom wall for twenty-eight years!!... but last year
we finally decided we had proved our point and sent it to the dump.
One of our cats had long ago clawed her chest, and my daughter's oil
paintings and intarsia pieces have taken over all our other walls - so,
it was time to set her free.
So in conclusion...
I love your painting and think it was a wonderful artistic investment..
but coming from me, that is very funny, isn't it?
:)

John,
I'm straight as all hell, but damn, I'd put that up in my bedroom in a
minute. I've been wanting a nude to put up in my room, but finding one
like that has been very difficult. I mentioned a few years ago that I
wanted to get a nude for my bedroom, and my mother thought I was nuts.
I live with her, so she wasn't thrilled with the idea. I told her it
would have to be artistic, but she doesn't know it would also have to be
a woman from behind, because that's the part of the body that turns me
on, whether it's male or female. Maybe it's the spanko in me, but I can
appreciate a nice bottom on a woman as well as any man can. You're
lucky to have found that. If you ever hear of them putting out prints
of it, let me know!
