I'd appreciate any pointers to online resources on
sex magick and tantric sex.
David
I'd suggest looking up Red Tantra, a yoga technique that uses the
the body's natural chakras during sex to heal and refocus energy.
I don't know of any specific online resources for it; it's just a
sexual magic practice I ran across in my youth.

David, if you can make a wish while you are orgasming,
then you have pathetic orgasms.
There is no such thing as 'sex magick' I've investigated a number
of such claims, and in every case I found some socially retarded
individuals using claims of magickal skills as a means of getting
laid.
Some of them achieved that, but their lives remained disaster
areas because of the impotence (pun intended) of their so-called
sex 'magick'.
I see less extreme examples of the same general sort of thing
throughout the neo-pagan world.
Most Wiccan groups are just role-playing social-sex clubs.

No, you make the wish in advance of the orgasm, not
while you are orgasming.

Still....
There are ways of spellcasting that don't involve wrecking your
sex life. With practice, they are just as potent, AND you can do
them more often and in more places and you don't need someone
else.
Messing with your sex life is a serious matter. Sex is one of our
best natural therapies.
You don't know anything about sex magick do you? It doesn't 'mess' with
your sex life.

The list of things Sidney doesn't know seems to be fairly significant
for such a short posting history here. How unfortunate, some new blood
wouldn't be entirely bad.
This is my second response to the above, after thinking the matter
over carefully.
So-called "sex magick" is just one of numerous 'tricks' for
getting yourself to concentrate a lot of evergy into a belief
that you want to see actualized.
(A belief or spell being composed of idea-emotion-imagination.)
If the evergy is going to a spell, rather than the sex act you
are involved in, you are cheating yourself and your partner(s),
AND your spell. This is a cheap trick and as is the case with all
cheap tricks, the gains are illusory when the books are balanced.
And it is completely unnecessary. With a little practice you can
spellcast much more efficiently by chanting (aloud or mentally)
a simple paragraph describing your desired outcome with as much
feeling as possible, channeling any imaginings along the desired
lines.
I repeat: sex is one our best natural therapies. Don't mess with
it.
"I wish she were a supermodel, I wish she were a supermodel, I wish
she were a supermodel, I wish she were a supermodel!"
;)
There's no such thing as "sex magick".
The whole idea comes from the same sources that the overhwlming
majoority of 'neo-pagans' rely on for the rest of the romantic
and superstitious drivel they call 'magick'.
None of which is even as effective, regardless of how 'expert'
the practiciouer, as a 5-minute course in creative visualization.
If you are practicing what's called "sex magick" and don't think
it interferes with your sex life? You don't even kmow what a good
sex life is.
I have a clue for you: Just becuase a website or book or video
claims to be about magick, doesn't mean it is.
The energy of the orgasm is directed to the spell, but that
doesn't detract from the orgasm, in fact in my case the
orgasm was stronger than usual.
David
David, when you learn to tell your wishful thinking from your
honest experience, it will be a grand day.
And on that grand day, it will dawn on you that maybe a book
or website isn't about real magick just because it says
that it is.
And you will figure out why you have to masturbate instead
of having a real sex life.
Terminal self-involvement has a way of turning women off.

The energy of the orgasm goes into the spell after it occurs. You don't
chant your wish while you're having sex, you send the thought out that
the result of the sexual energy go to what you wish for. Then
concentrate on the sexual act itself.

I had five and ten times my previous orgasm maximum
on the two significant times I tried sex magick. The
first time I wished for Earth renewal and the second
time I forget, maybe it was just to send it to them.

I have learned nothing yet about sex magick from books
or web sites; I have just learned to do it on my own,
but haven't done it lately. (Also I am still
suffering from a null orgasm that I hope will improve
when I get together with a partner.)
> And you will figure out why you have to masturbate instead

Masturbation hasn't been working for me in the last year,
I have an erection and ejaculation but zero orgasm. I
hope this will improve when I land a partner.
> Terminal self-involvement has a way of turning women off.
I'm not terminally self involved; I am just a bit shy and
slow to pick up on hints from women, and am slow at the
pickup game, and don't go to pickup bars but more to
live music clubs that often have few women or at least
few women close to me in age (I am 47) who are single
and attractive to me.
