heterosexual encounters and I must say that the women, or better girls were
not very good at sucking cock compared to the men I met after my coming out.
I'm not sure if I feel this way because I'm gay and always was gay, you
know, in the 80s it was not so easy to come out and family etc. expected me
to have heterosexual relationships.
But I think that men ARE the better cocksuckers. They seem to enjoy cocks
more than the girls I remember. They have no problems with swallowing the

I think gender *might* have something to do with it, but I think can be
compensated for with enthusiasm, as you rightly point out. Unless, of
course, you're like me and have TMJ syndrome, which limits my ability to get
my mouth open fully. Which sucks (or not, as the case may be), because I
really *like* fellatio, but I just can't do it for very long anymore because
of jaw pain. I'm of the opinion that fellatio can *help* TMJ tightness, but
only if one's partner is willing to keep his hands off one's head and let
one go at one's own speed. :P
On the other hand, I know gay men who don't like giving fellatio and

Some of my gay friends used to pass this on as a given truth.
Unfortunately, I can't speak from first-hand knowledge and experience,
but I think that it's far too subjective to have any better of an answer
than "It all depends."
The assumption is that women, not having first-hand knowledge of a
penis, aren't able to fine tune their performance and they miss some of
the nuances of manipulation. But this presupposes that men all react the
same to the same stimulation, and we know that this isn't true. Some men
think that oral sex is the best thing since sliced bread, and others
(I'm one) think it's nice, but can take it or leave it, and still others
don't care for it at all.
And of course, some women are pretty damn good at giving oral because
they enjoy their partner's reactions, and because they've taken time to
figure out how to improve their performance. And others might try it
once in a while with no real passion, and of course, some women just
won't even go there.
Furthermore, I'd advance the opinion that if one goes into a session
with the belief that [pick a gender] is going to be better, then I
suspect that you're going to leave that session with the idea reinforced
if your perception of the pleasure comes within a certain margin of
error for those parameters (jeez, it's like I just okk lessons from jack
Lipton).

I think some men are good at sucking cock, and some aren't. I think some
women are good at sucking cock and some aren't. And I especially think
that what will work on one man's dick won't on another's, so there's no
real standard for what constitutes a good blowjob. Every man I've ever

that some women are good at knowing what I want, and some men are. And
some women suck at it (and not in that nice way that we like), as do
some men. It just doesn't, in my experience, map to gender.

There is a major flaw in this argument. If you are not gay you like
women and if you like having your penis sucked, then you like a woman

False assumption 1: what works for one man works for every other man.

Yes, but knowing and doing (and having done) are quite different
things. One can well know what other men/women like from one's own
experience, but actually preferring another man/woman doing it is quite
