Obesity, the study says, is connected to poverty and the distance one
is from the supermarket...

"These include rates of diabetes and hypertension, exercise and
healthy eating, and smoking, poverty rates, income and education. The
report also looked at census tracts in these areas identified by the
USDA as low income and low access areas for food, where residents have
low income and live one mile (in urban areas) or 10 miles (in rural
areas) from a grocery store or supermarket."

One would assume that the poor would be lean and the rich fat, right?
I have described the "class struggle" in terms of "fat asses" vs. "fit
asses," but it seems I may have to correct myself in terms of who is
who. If the poor are fat on top of being poor, what consolation can
they have? And why can't they ride a bike to the market if it's a mile
or two. If it weren't for the lack of bike facilities, I would look
forward to go ride my bike 4 miles round trip. OK, now I walk a mile
round trip to the newest supermarket where I also enjoy WIFI and that
somehow keeps me in shape. The pants still remain unbuttoned but the
belt is able to hold them from falling down. I'm not obese, just
unfit, ready to get sick and thus feed the system.

Is anyone trying to find a solution or this is just the way life is?
Are we the guinea pigs in some experiment? Are they taking into
account that mice rather spin the wheel and have fun?

That's why is so important that the revolution is tested on animals
first.
