REPUBLICANS FOR HEALTH CARE!!!

It's not too late!!! Tell your Senators & Congress People to vote in
your best interest to give the American People new hope as we rise of
from a broken system of health delivery. Health care, for this
improving nation, is an investment in the future.

Give health a chance!!! Fight for it, NOW!!!-:) What is being
offered is for all the people, including REPUBLICANS!!!=:) NO MORE
NO'S when it comes to our health care needs!!! No one is immune from
the miserly ways of the health insurance companies and profiteers in
the health care industry. Don't let groups of nuts influence your
thinking on the topic. Amongst the vast amount of people dying too
soon, because they have no health insurance, could be you, your
family, your friends. Very few are so secure that adequate health
care need not be a concern for them.

Republicans ARE voting in favor of health care, by opposing the
Democretin's attempt to destroy it.

Vote for that mess? Are you insane? The HealthCare fiasco is going
to win the Republicans the House in a landslide and the Senate by a
squeaker.

If this fiasco passes, Americans will have to pay higher taxes and
much bigger insurance premiums four years before the "benefits" (such
as they are) take place. Why is that, you ask? Two reasons.....

1. Obama didn't want to run for re-election when the Americans had
first hand experience just how fucked up ObamaCare is, and...
2. Four years of higher premiums and taxes with no benefits are the
only way they could make the first six years of ObamaCare come close
to not bankrupting the country. What happens after that, when
ObamaCare doesn't have that four year, benefit free, cushion? Obama
will be writing him memoirs then, and doesn't give a fuck.

You guys wrote this bill without Republican help - you passed it
without Repubican help. Oh, and you had to BRIBE Democrats to vote
for this stinker.

Hold on, America.... 44 more weeks till the Repubicans take back power.

Not at all. However, Christ was VERY clear on this point.

Matthew 22:15-33240

15 Then the Pharisees went out and planned together to entrap him with
his own words.

16 They sent to him their disciples along with the Herodians, saying,
Teacher, we know that You are truthful, and teach the way of God in
accordance with the truth. You do not court anyone's favor because you
show no partiality.

17 Tell us then, what do you think? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar
or not??

18 But Jesus realized their evil intentions and said, "Hypocrites! Why
are you testing Me?

19 Show Me the coin used for the tax." So they brought him a
denarius.

20 Jesus said to them, "Whose image is this, and whose inscription"

21 They replied, "Caesar's." He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the
things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
.

> Christ was stoned by those who thought his charity too liberal!!! >

.
1. Christ wasn't stoned; He was crucified.
2. He was not crucified for being "too liberal," but for blasphemy.

Why should I take spiritual counseling from a dolt who didn't know
Christ was crucified? How is it even possible to grow up in Western
Culture, and not know of the crucifixion?

What do you think Jesus would have said about the Democrats, after he
learned that Kevin Jennings was a "Safe School Czar"? When Rev.
Wright, supposedly a Christian, screamed "God Damn America?" How
about Democrats who use the force of law to compel Christians to
unwillingly perform abortions? Or a Healthcare bill that forced
Christians to pay for abortions?

Christ said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the United States of America, or
about its government, which did not exist in His lifetime, and wasn't
even contemplated for another millennium and a half.

To claim that ANYTHING Christ said is applicable to anything and
anyone in the 21st century is a matter of INTERPRETATION, and thus is
NOT "very clear" at all.

The ACLU does no such thing, and has fought for fundies as much as for
atheists. However, WITHIN OUR GOVERNMENT, Christianity and all other
religion is insignificant, and must be.

I know enough not to support child abusers like Donald Rumsfeld. You
apparently do not.

I don't live in a dictatorship. You righties love dictatorships.

People did that. Not the "government."

Didn't you learn anything from the Timothy McVeigh story?
He too, thought "government" was the enemy. But the "government" is just
people. Sure, people within government can and do bend it to their wills and
whims. But if you truly knew history, you know that the "government" of that
time wanted little to do with he whole Jesus affair.
It was the Jewish High Priests who pressured the government into action.

You conservaloons always view things like the "government" as something
outside of yourselves because you're all focused on the blame game instead
of the repair game.

Christ said very little, and all of it was elliptical. It takes
interpretation to even understand what He was saying about Rome.
Trying to generalize what He said about Rome to other situations is
even murkier interpretation.

>> To claim that ANYTHING Christ said is applicable to anything and

Sorry, but nothing in the Bible is "obvious", especially given that
everything Christ said has been doubly translated, from the Aramaic
that He probably originally spoke in (which is not recorded anywhere)
to ancient Greek, and then from Greek to English.

And then there are the decades that passed between Christ's words and
the writings that we have.

There is NO source that actually records exactly what Christ said.

And that is totally ignoring that the cultural context He was speaking
in is only partially known, and only a small fraction of what He said
was recorded even in the approximate form that we have, so common
sense tells us to treat every quote as if it has been taken out of
context.

Like I said - it's all interpretation.

Interpretation. He did not actually condemn anyone in that reported
episode. He apparently allowed them to see the hypocrisy in their
actions.

But of course, the "clear" interpretation of this, is that since no
one is sufficiently without sin to cast the first stone, no society
should ever punish anyone for any criminal misdeeds.

At least that seems at least as "clear" as any other interpretation.

>However, Jesus has a special contempt for corruptors of innocence -

Really? Sounds like another interpretation.

There are only a couple of things He showed utmost contempt for.
People who falsely claim to speak or act for Him stand out in my
memory - liars and hypocrites, "I never knew thee"

>and that's clearly the level of Hell Kevin Jennings is heading.

I don't presume the wisdom to judge other human beings, even if I
agreed with the claim that Kevin Jennings is any more a "corrupter of
innocence" than you or I are.

He never said any such thing. Indeed, He never told anyone to "act
like a Christian", since the word "Christian" never appears in His
words. You are interpreting again.

And in fact, Christ told people to obey those in authority. He never
once told anyone, including His apostles, to disobey the government.

I know, through history, that liberals LOVE to make up, and repeat,
false charges against republicans. Donald Rumsfled is not a child
molester. You are a casual liar - that is why you cowardly change
your screen name regularly.

Yes, corrupt, evil people with the legal authority of force. Look at
you - just now, you made up, out of whole, a disgusting charge against
Donald Rumsfeld - based on nothing other than the wish to smear his
repubtation. YOU are the sort of people who wants the government to
control all our lives.

The socialists murdered around a hundred million people.

And they do so with the force of law, to crush opposition, destroy

A 100% truth-free statement. The Roman government was quite concerned
that Jesus would declare Himself "King of the Jews".

Ah, so we're back to liberals calling Jews "Christ killers", huh?
Honestly, were you ever really that far away?

We view the "government" (and the goverment) as something outside
ourselves, because it is. You may wish to live a life being told what
to do. My you enjoy the taste of your Master's ass, and your chains
weigh lightly.

All you have to know about whether to support this or not is to ask yourself
these very simple questions. Will the result of this bill give you more
freedom or less freedom? Is your freedom important or not important? Do
you want to be more dependent on government or less dependent on government?
Will this reduce or increase the growing National government obligations or
won't it? Are you at all concerned about the growing government promises
that it cannot possibly keep. Is this a big problem or no problem at all?

Perfect example of black/white either/or false dichotomy thinking.

The answer to all of those questions is somewhere in the middle
between your extremist dichotomies.

as long as it's a problem for conservatives, it must be good for everyone
else,
I mean the wealthy and powerful, and the dumb ass hillbillies are against
it, so
obviously they feel they have something to lose, which is bound to be good
for everyone else,

you have a hard time with simplicity don't you ?

damn japs and krauts, and hillbillies always have made everything more
complicated than it needed to be,

why not shut the hell up, go away, and let the smart people handle things,
really what have you conservatives, Nazis, and war criminal japs ever done

Those who are willing to give up their freedoms for a little more safety,
deserve neither freedom nor safety. And no, there is not "middle ground"
when it comes to the size of our government obligations. If you believe
that, here is your chance. Go to this web site, and explain what the
"middle ground" is.

I already figured that would be the kind of response I received.
Translation: you don't care about our freedoms. You don't care about the
size of our National debt.

But of course I am giving up no freedoms.

So?

The government owes a lot of money. My personal obligation is to pay
the taxes as decided by our legally elected representatives in
accordance with the constitution. No more and no less.

The health care bill may or may not reduce that debt. Probably there
will have to be a tax increase. There *should* have been a tax
increase when Bush took us to war, to cover the costs of that war.
Those who supported Bush's war without expecting to pay for it have no
cause to complain about other trillion dollar expenditures which at
least attempt to pay for themselves.

That was a long time ago. Our freedom is under attack now. If you support
the healthcare reform bill that the democrats want, then today you don't
place a very high value on our freedoms, or you would not be supporting the
bill.
