I'll note that I've never been arrested for anything, and

The last time I was in this newsgroup, I was way to
easy on the really scummy specimens who are in these
groups. I don't intend to pay a lot of attention to them,

Rumple, you are in good company. He has even forged foul, nearly
pornographic posts with my name on them. You are better off saying little,
only posting to show that the post was not yours. The people who know you
will know the post isn't real even without the identifiers. What I ALWAYS
do is report it, though. I understand that since he is out of the country,
he may be out of reach of the laws about spoofing, but I am sure it is just
a matter of time till he makes some really wrong mistake and gets his just
desserts.
Remember, this is a person who has absolutely no morality or personal sense
of honor, whatsoever. Even those who agree with him some of the time,
cannot trust him. A person without a sense of honor is probably capable of
any horrible thing you can think of and probably more that you can't. He
is not even capable of civilized discourse. I don't know what sort of
horrors of genetics or upbringing made him like he is, but such people are
more deserving of pity than hatred. He has lost what made him a human
being, somewhere along the line.

I would have missed your post, but I thought I'd check
into the newsgroups that the chickenshit lying creep posted
to, to see if I was missing anything that was there. As I
noted in a side post, teranews doesn't seem to like
crossposting. I don't object to that at all since I don't like
crossposting either, but it meant that I had to repost the
refutations separately to each group, and I hadn't looked
at the groups other than soc.retirement until now.
The amazing thing is that chickenshit lying creep has
cronies, one of which posted to this thread. How
anybody like that can have any friends is beyond me,
but wherever they live, I don't want to live there.
He might be deserving of pity if I were more of a
Buddhist than I am, but I'm not a good Buddhist at all!
I'm sick of his s**t, and the s**t of people like him who,
thank Zeus, I never meet in real life. He might have
some horrible disability that has made him the way he
is, like the "little monster" Alexander Pope, though, in
which case I would kind of regret taking off on him
the way I have, but even then probably I wouldn't. He
doesn't deserve pity, no matter how he got that way.

Believe it or not, I never did see "Brokeback Mountain".
I rarely go to movies: I don't have the patience to sit
through them. Those guys were out in the steppes though,
or whatever that kind of landscape is called in America, so
they wouldn't have had to interact with the fundamentalists
in the settlements. (It just struck me that I like that word
"fundamentalist", because its alternative meaning seems
so apt to me given my opinion of those people as a group!).
I wouldn't have seen this post if I hadn't dropped into
this group just to see if I'd missed anything posted to this
