Support genealogy in Denmark

A proposal for a new Usenet newsgroup may need your support, and I
hope you will help us by voting for this group.
There is no arguments against the newsgroup itself, but it has been a
strong wish to hide it away as a subgroup like
'dk.science.humaniora.history.genealogy'. The current proposal is
simply dk.historie.genealogi (historie and genealogi being the Danish
words for history and genealogy). I fear that the different viewpoints
on newsgroup organization may result in the group not being created at
all.
You can support the genealogists working with Danish ancestors by
voting for the group. To vote you simply have to send an email to this
address:
In the SUBJECT field you put this:
Jeg stemmer JA til dk.historie.genealogi
(I vote YES to dk.historie.genealogi).
Within two days you should receive a message confirming, that you have
voted. If that doesn't happen, you may send your vote again. The last
day for voting is january 12.
Can this newsgroup be of any use to you?
It might. Though the primary language in dk.historie.genealogi will be
Danish nobody would mind postings in English from genealogists working
with Danish ancestors. Many Danes read and write enough English to
help you with your research.
