A Ridiculous and Dangerous Arrangement, Only in Fascist Burma
By Zomi for Federalization and Democratization
The anti-democratically drafted, unilaterally and fraudulently
approved Nargis Constitution of 2008 is a ridiculous and dangerous
Constitution.
One of the strange facts is that the commander-in-chief of the Armed
Forces is above the minister for defence, and even above the
President! The commander-in-chief is given the power to topple the
President, the Chief Justice, and the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu
Hluttaw. Herein lies the dangerous fact of the Nargis Constitution.
In democratic countries, and even in fascist and communist countries,
the minister of defence is usually a civilian (either civilian through
and through, or a former military officer), and the military commander-
in-chief is under the minister of defence. The President (almost
always a civilian) is above the minister of defence.
But in Burma, and only in Burma, the selfish Brutal Bamar Buddhist
Fascist Terrorist Rapist (BBBFMTR) USDP Government has a structure,
not foumd anywhere else in the whole world.
Look at the constitutions of the communist Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics (1917-1991), the fascist German Reich (1871-1945), the
fascist Italy (1922-1843), the fascist Spain (1936-1975), the
communist People's Republic of China (1949-present), etc. The
presidents or the prime ministers are civilians, and they are above
the ministers of defence, who are above the commanders-in-chief of
the armed forces.
The ridiculousness sprang from foolishness (lack of knowledge) and
selfishness (the desire not to share state power with others).
The dangerouness sprang from the power of the commander-in-chief's
power to fire the whole government.for an ill-defined reason, The
government is at the mercy of the commander-in-chief.
