--The literature of ANALYSIS or PROTEST,or fiction that takes the
businessman or economic conditions as its FOCUS,was simply the work
most obviously treating the period.(it is be noted the Radical Right
Posters on this newsgroup are invariably "REALISM ATTACKS").But when
we come to William James and his philosophy(today we are being led by
an out moded Christianity's Philosophy)of pragmatism or to his
successor John Dewey,we find a way of thinking that reflects the new
scientists' skepticism about large general ideas and the scientific
RESPECT FOR FACT(which is hated by our Amoral Radical Right Christian
Republican Party adherents;especially from the old Baptist South),that
on the other hand has been associated with the practical bias of
American life and is sometimes said to be the only INDIGENOUSLY
DEVELOPED SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHY.
Not as a result of this philosophy,but as an associated
development,we find the rise of realism(blood and guts movies)in
fiction--and later poets--Ezra Pound--Realism,as concerning literature
(a plethora of tell all books about persons and "Government"),may be
taken in two senses,in relation to technique(so loved by many of this
NG posters)and in relation to content(Radical Amoral Right Republicans
twisted postings on this NG,by so many,including foul language)and in
relation to content.
The teachnique is used to give the impressions of "reallity";used today
mainly by Southern White Male older adults.Even in a most fantastic
"political"story.
The corelating point between the 19-20-and now the 21st century
politics of the once Successful Conservatives;after being taken over
by the "Newt Gingrich-Reverend Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson" children
of the Old South Poverty Baptist Religion" has now been or soon will
be destroyed--now Americans will be seeking for a New Culture and a
more suitable philosophy.Than the one Reflected by the elephant shit on
a Jewish woman-The Virgin Mary--imported from a culturally decadent
Britain of Europe.
