always act so innocent when it pops up. There are always folks who
celebrate violence. Republicans are the first ones to wave the flag
when we murder folks abroad. What about the man in Florida? What
religion was he? He was under stress for losing everything
financially.
This man was also under alot of stress, who had 'cared-for' US
soldiers his entire military career. He dealt daily with soldiers
with PTSD. He did not carry a weapon and would not be fighting, even
if he went overseas. MDs only do that in complete self-defense.
I would like to hear some of his former clients come forth.
But guess what? They are living in fear that if they do, they will
be branded as being mentally ill and might even be kicked out of the
military. He wore his army uniform to prayers at his local mosque and
was proud to be in the military. He was born right here in the USA. He
apparently was a very intelligent man to finish medical school the way
he did. And he went to medical school taking care of GIs.
As I posted before...our city hospitals are full of Muslim
psychiatrists. AND suicide is common amongst psychiatrists. Folks
presume they break down hearing so much of mankind's insanity.

So much more is now coming out. Yes, the man was treated badly for being a
muslim. He was harassed. There are NO EXCUSES however for killing
innocent people and what he did was unconscionable.
But saying that he did what he did because he was a muslim is like saying
that Timothy McVeigh did what he did because he was a Christian. Wrong on
both counts. Their religions are incidental to the situation. Both are
and were insane, regardless of their religions.

He has, unfortunately, planted the seeds of doubt that will grow. Look
at the British soldiers murdered by an Afghan policeman or the Afghan
soldiers that decided to kill several American allies. The Brits and
our soldiers will never again look on these people as allies but as
potential assasins on whom one had best never turn your back.
It is even worse when an American officer does the murdering. Certainly
most will be loyal but on whom can you *safely* turn your back. Who can
be trusted to protect your back? The percentages say it isn't a Muslim.

There are murders every day, but when the perpetrator starts his
killing spree by yelling Allah Akbar, he is motivated by his religion.
Not coincidentally, well over 90% of the terrorism in the world today
is the work of Muslims. Jihad in the name of Islam is not just
encouraged by the Muslim religion, it is glorified, and is the one and

BUT - the diference and the probem is with the Koran!!! Jihad!!! Off
with their heads!!! And, while there are many perfectly respectable
citizens, who have adopted the Muslim faith (both here and in Europe -
alas!!) I, nevertheless fear the excesses of thei beliefs- plainly
written in the Koran - and executed - often - and cannot justify to
myself why people who adopt the Muslim faith choose to ignore the
downside of that religion - the incredibly cruel ,inhuman side.
Religion is often - not always - the salvation for people whose needs to
lean on something bigge and stronger than themselves - though mysterious
- helps them to exist - - but I question the motivation of some who must
be aware of the dark side (THE KORAN) the cruel, inhuman ways advocated
to deal with one's enemies (jihad, off with their heads,etc.etc.0=), and
so, to get back to the murderer at the Army Camp - a psychiatrist -
yet!!! - he obviously must have been aware of the darker side of the
muslim religion - yet accepted it, since early on, it must have
resonated to something within him which, perhaps he was not even aware
of. - and so, we have thousands upon thousands of Muslims now in our
country - and more in Europe - a new phenomenon for us - add how to
properly deal with this. They are all over our universities, preaching
(!!!) and, perhaps the majority are just fine American citizens, but
knowing what we do - about the Koran - about jihad - isn't it perfectly
natural to asume that this could present a threat. And how do we deal
with this??? Bigger heads than mine have raised these issues -
especially in Europe which is overrun with Muslims.

This is fact, not supposition. A military unit lives, fights and
functions as a team. They live or die as a team. Anything, anything at
all that erodes confidence in fellow team members is corrosive and
destructive to the team. The seeds of doubt have been planted. Look at
the British that were murdered by Afghan national police-they had let
their guard down because they thought they were "safe" with an ally.
With Americans, French, Germans, Italians, etc. that would have been
true but not with Muslims. That killed them. Look at the ANP that
murdered several Americans before he was gunned down.
To have to keep one eye on a supposed ally divides attention and THAT
gets you killed. Situational awareness is diluted, that is lethal. It is
even worse that the officer corp kept this guy on duty.
Islam/Koran/Jihad is the enemy (that and Political Correctness). Allak

Remember when white southern women were convinced by their men,
that all black men were out to rape them? It was impossible to tell
the difference then. Which could be trusted ? Kill 'em all ?
Remember when blacks were introduced into the military, there were
white men who refused to fight with them and threatened to shoot them
before they shot the enemy ?
Whether it's a police squad, firefighters or warriors, each member of the
team has to prove themselves every day.
There have been white, christian soldiers who killed each other and
fragged officers they hated.
Why is this so much worse ?

I remember because I knew guys who were serving over there at that time.
Religion had nothing to do with any of the killings.
He witnessed bodies being bagged that were clearly the result of "friendly"
fire. Nothing was said, supposedly for the sake of morale and to protect
the feelings of family members.
A whole bunch of angry young men were sent there to die for nothing
and they knew it. It was not like WW2. They were bright enough
to understand the waste and stupidity of the action.
Just like a lot of the troops in Afghanistan remember what happened to
the Russians who finally gave it up.

There is something wrong with their thought processes, so I call that
insane. No human being in their right mind would harm those who never did
a thing to them in a frenzy of blood lust like that. Whether it fits the
legal definition of insanity is another matter of course. I dislike the
death penalty in many cases, but for someone this disturbed there is no fix,
no drug, nothing to help him. This guy and others like him are just
beyond, beyond.
Also..... you know I keep my sig. line because some beings are very
difficult to cherish. Keeping from hating and wanting to kill them is
sometimes the best we can hope for and achieve. Because by hating them
and wanting to kill them, we BECOME like them.

Many right wingers will tell you that it doesn't matter that Bush
didn't get Bin Laden. They'll tell you that "Bring 'um on Bush" has
guts. They'll say the oil price bubble was just a coincidence or was
caused solely by speculators and what's good for Big Oil is good for
