Tiger Woods needs to 'man up' and deal with who he is. If he is
incapable of retraining the urge to follow his dick around, don't try
to bullshit everyone, including himself.
Hearing he was boo-hooing and suicidal as he was caught in some physic
vice of contrition, guilt and such make me want to puke. Guy needs to
look in a mirror and deal with whoever he is: and if he does not like
what he sees, work on improving or accepting what is not flattering.
Too bad his father is not around to smack him upside the head with
strong dose of reality.

Hume sounds like a jerk. "My snakeoil is way better'n their

- He is not a violent man. He didn't harm any of them*.
- There are no illegitimate children from any of those unions
otherwise the slavering attention of modern tabloid news would already
have ferreted out every last detail and blatted it nonstop in every
conceivable (sorry...) outlet.
- His wife - well, we don't know their private accommodations, but
his unusually robust sexual appetite can not have escaped her
attention.
- He is undoubtedly very very careful about spreading or
contracting debilitating diseases.
C'mon guys, this is nothing but penis envy. You have the same
kind of hysterics every time some guy gets more than his 'share' of an
abundant world-wide resource.
And it's fame-and-wealth envy. Iow, it's an adorable "guy
thing" when some jerk down at the gas station humps the other
neighbors' wives, but it's intolerable when the guy is rich and
acclaimed.

They are just jealous of his fame, fortune and perhaps his ability too.
Not that I think his cheating ways are good for anyone, but this is really a
case of pot/kettle. Christianity certainly does not have any better moral
code than buddhism, nor does it guarantee fidelity any more than any other
religion does. Somewhere I have a nice essay I wrote which outlined the
buddhist concept of sexual morality for some who were interested. I might
dig it up and post it.
A LOT of people around here seem to throw buddhism in peoples face every
time they get a chance, thinking we are supposed to be "holier" than
everyone else. We are human beings just like they are.

Hume hit this one out of left field and no one was willing to take

Shep Smith might have had he been in the discussion. He is the
only member of the Fox lineup with any balls.

Yes, I like Smith. A very fine reporter. There are others with
talent and style as well. Geraldo is not one of them imho. A
sleezeball with no credibility. Willing to do anything to
sensationalize a story including distort and fabricate I'd think. I
was disappointed when he showed up on Fox.

Lots of folks say they are Buddhists as the general belief is it is a
religion of peace and harmony and such. Cafeteria style shoppers of
religion.
He has to be influenced by Buddhism from his mother. Religion is
deeply ingrained in societies and provide philosophical underpinnings
to everything from views of justice and family. So, whether he is a
'practicing' or even 'leaning that way' Buddhist; he can't shake the
root beliefs from his Mom.
The poor guy seems conflicted to me. Almost a man-child kind of guy
who wants to please everybody and keep his wilding inclinations deeply
hidden. Can't do it at his level, or at any level for the rest of us.
Can't hide getting out for some strange stuff from spouse and those
close for long.
I hope he would get some groundings so he can be comfortable with what
and who he is. In my view, I'd wish he could get back out being the
greatest golfer in the world and keep his family happy. Got to shake
that man-child thing first.
