Oh, they're OK if you believe that politicians should be able to tell
a women whether her rape was legitimate or not and if you believe that
a herd of Tea Partiers ought to be able to force a women who was raped
to have the rapist's child and if you believe we should cut Social
Security and Medicare so that we can pay for more preemptive wars,
etc.

I call them the only thing keeping the country from falling into a
Marxist state led by your messiah-boy, the Obambi.

God bless the USA, and fuck you commies.

Communism. Hint: you can't because one doesn't exist except in the minds

One of the problems with Republicans is that they spend so much time
trying to predict the future they are unable to deal with the present.

Actually, I don't think they broke any laws and there is no evidence
of a White House connection that I know of.

What started this whole mess, though, was when some Republican during
the Eisenhower administration flagrantly broke the law and changed it
to suit his own purposes by substituting the word "exclusively" for
"primarily". Here's a quote:

"According to the Internal Revenue Code passed by Congress, 501(c)(4)
status is reserved for “civic leagues or organizations not organized
for profit but operated exclusively for the promotion of social
welfare” [emphasis added]. In 1959, during the Eisenhower
administration, the IRS decided to ignore the letter of the law, and
wrote rules for 501(c)(4) organizations requiring only that they be
primarily for the promotion of social welfare."

As for White House involvement, I suspect that is the case, but
tracing it back to Obama would be exceedingly difficult. There were
probably winks, nods, and knowing glances, but nothing prosecutable.
The nailing of Richard Nixon was a lesson to venal politicians like
Barack Obama and his merry band of czars and socialists.

The obvious solution is for the IRS to stop breaking the law and start
obeying the law which says that 501(c)(4) status is "EXCLUSIVELY" for
the promotion of social welfare and not "PRIMARILY" for that purpose.

To straighten the mess out, all Obama has to do is issue instructions
to the Treasury Department to start obeying the law and the whole
entire mess caused by trying to figure out who is "primarily" engaged
in charity work, and who isn't, magically and totally and permanently
disappears.

That would be the logical thing to do and the ethical thing to do and
the legal thing to do, and that, I suppose, is why the politicians
will never do it.

We're all raised to believe that crime doesn't pay, and for most of
us, it certainly doesn't. In Washington, though, it's an entirely
different story. The IRS, which is under the direction of the Treasury
Department, which is under the direction of the president, has been in
blatant violation of the law since 1959, yet that's the last thing
anybody seems to want to talk about.

At least at one time, the Spanish police weren't as pleasant as our
cops. Back in the day, shortly after I arrived in Spain, a young
Guardia Civil (a kind of federal semi-military police officer) was
beaten up by some gypsies, who stole his gun. A few older, and meaner,
Guardia Civil paid the gypsy camp a visit and proceeded to machine gun
them. If Aliass is an American fugitive, the Spaniards probably have
it figured out by now. With any luck he's also a gypsy. (-8

What would surprise you even more is that my Internet connection is much
faster than yours. Most of the unemployment, btw, are young folks who
live with their *working* parents. We have high speed rail. You don't.
We have very few gun related deaths. You have the most in the developed

code that churns out criminals and is profit and punishment oriented
rather than rehabilitation oriented. You have the highest per capita
prison population in the developed world.
