The Five K's

I have been reading a number of texts on the matter of growing hair and
why it must be kept uncut. I now it is to show commitment to a beautiful
faith with the result being that of increased spirtual stength. But when I am
asked for the reasons for growing my hair, my response seems to be of
blind faith to my friends. The response that I normally recieve, is that I am
degrading my friends of the same faith but with cut hair. How should I
respond in the future?
