Is Q-Tip a Sunni Muslim?

A while back it was announced that a famous rapper named Q-Tip (from the
group A Tribe Called Quest) converted to Islam. (I think that his
non-stage name is now Kamal Fareed). Anyway, I was wondering if anybody
knows whether he is Sunni, Shia, in the Nation, or whatever. Just curious.

Yes, Alhamdulilah Q-Tip is a Sunni Muslim. It is clearly evident in his
lyrics and he also had Imam Siraj Wahhaj on the latest CD from A Tribe
Called Quest.
