No, it sounds a lot more like Americans desire to defend themselves
against the terrorist aggressors who are invading with a religious
message pasted to the end of a bomb every few days.
If ONLY these bigotted terrorist idiots had the slightest clue how
idiotic and ineffective their attempts to bully the non-Muslim world
have been. So blind.
Every time they attack innocent American, French and Israeli
women and children the more we abhor them and their nasty,
violent belief system.
It is clearer all the time to the rest of the world WHO the real
ATTACKERS are. Their organizations have many names.
Not just Al Qaeda. But the root is the same for them all.
Violent hatred for anyone and anything that does not bow the knee
to their god allah and to their belief system.
I have deep respect for the non-violent Muslims, but it seems they
are becoming fewer all the time.

Yes terrorism is bad. Agreed.
No one should do it. It should be condemned.
But do those in power and others like you want to know
why it occurs? Do you want to deal with the causes rather than
react stupidly and ineffectively?
World terrorism is the result of many years of US terrorism throughout the
world.
It is they who also set up all these terrorst organizations against other
States and now complain that they act against them.
Is there anything the US or Israel government is doing which
can be regarded as intelligent solutions to the problem?
Is it not merely actions of revenge that beget further actions of revenge
in an endless vicious circle?
There is no war against terrorism. It is a war of one powerful terrorist
group led by the USA against a weaker anonymous one,
in order to obtain a monopoly and control over the world and its resources.
But it is unlikely to succeed.
It merely creates ever more terrorists in opposition and
makes the condition of the world steadily worse.
This has little to do with Religion as such, but with politics and
human nature.
Are those who support or sympathise with terrorists guilty?
If so then in democratic states those who support the various governments
that indulge in their stupid policies, can they be said to be inocent?

That simplistic interpretation is going to serve no positive end. If you
care about solving the problem you need to see the whole scene, not just how
it appears from where you normally sit.
If my neighbor fences off half of my land, and starts building on it, I'm
GOING to fight to get him off of it.
If his rich buddy down the road keeps sending him guns and money, I'm GOING
to fight HIM too.
That's how the Muslims of the Middle East see us here in America. Because
THAT'S WHAT OUR FOREIGN POLICY HAS BEEN. We give six BILLION-with-a-B
dollars in aid to Israel every year.
It has come home violently. You don't like it. I don't like it.
But guess what? EVEN SOME ISRAELIS realize it has gone too far.
