Who is Abdul Hadi Palazi and the Italian Islamic Institute?

I recently received a request from one of our brothers to provide some
information on someone called Abdul Hadi Palazzi and the various
organisations he fronts. Amongst them, are the Italian Muslim Association,
Italian Islamic Community, Italian Islamic Institute, and the Islam-Israel
Fellowship.
Palazzi is hardly someone who justifies any comment, so I decided to allow
Palazzi to speak for himself and let the readers judge for themselves
whether he is calling to zionism or whether he is calling to Islam. What
follows is a small collection of quotes from Palazzi on such issues as
Israeli sovereignty over Muslims, the Russian genocide of Chechen Muslims,
the "virtues" of preachers of anti-Islamic hate, and his belief that the
intifada was a fitnah and its participants were sinners. As the saying

1. Opposing Zionist oppression of Muslims is "unislamic"

I do not wish to place myself in a position of defending Abdul Hadi
Palazzi.
I also have seen some of his remarks, and *also* question some of the
statements and positions.
My questions:
1. Does you mean to suggest that the "Wahabi" understanding of Islam and
its
practices is the only correct interpretation?
2. Do you think Italians need to be told how to understand Islam by others?
3. Do you have the impression that there is only one Islamic movement in
Italy?
3. Are you opposed to Sufism?
I look forward to your replies. I am not attempting to debate. I am
sincerely interested in your observations. I have a particular interest in
Islam in Italy from a historical perspective and in the present
time as
well.
