(55:15) says that Jinns are made from fire. But according to (55:56,
72-74), they have the abililites to engage in sexual acts with
women.

How is this possible?

"In them will be (maidens) chaste, restraining
their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them
has touched." (55:56)

The men here means that they will be chaste
physically. I believe the jinn are included
not to have had relations with the maidens,
but just like in this life, the jinns try to
hinder us from the Straight Path to Allah
and paradise.
As you probably know everyone has a jinn
assigned to him that gives him false desires
and intentions that are bad. Muhammad (SAAW)
was able to control his jinn by the leave
of Allah from ever harming him.
Jinn are of course the extreme when it comes
to good and evil, obeying and not obeying
Allah. Angels are at the good end, jinn at
the other end, and we humans in the middle
who sometimes strive to be like angels but
more than likely end up going to the side of
the jinns.

ANYWAY these maidens in this paradise which
no man has seen, smelled, or touched before
will be PURE in the purest sense. Thats why
they will not have been touched by the jinn
and not sexually.

Can you be a bit more elaborate? Are you saying that how can one be made from smoke and have the ability to have sex? Then how can one be made from Clay and have the same capability?

As sallamu alaikum Brother Mohammad. I believe that like man
which according to 55:14 was originally made from clay but now
have a different configuration. The jinn in 55:15 and 55:56 are
also changed and as such have the same more or less capabilities
as we do.

Allah isalmak

Salam.

You are mixing jinns and shayatins. The two have similarities and big
differencies. shayatins (or deamons) are from the jinn species, but they are
different from that they also deceive and confuse the mind of those jinns the
way they do it with humans. The jinns are also like the humankind, a jinnkind
with freewill, they have been given this life like us to be judged on it at
the day of the judgement.

Simply by reading the kuran, surat al jinn, you will see that the prophet
muhhamed (saw) had been followed by some jinns that listened to him reciting
the quran. And there are plenty of hadiths I read when I was a kid about jinns

that show them like an orginized (say differently) societies with different
religions, why not different kinds, politics, etc.
I also remember having read a hadith where the prophet (saw) says he spent
some time with the jinns teaching them.

Beside this, nothing that "I know" says that jinns have male and female kinds.

But I beleive so, for the aya that says that in paradise are maindens
untouched by any man or jinn proposes that jinns in paradise (and sure they
have their place there as we humans will have some of us our place there) will

have those "maidens", (I don't know what about the female jinns, as for the
female humans, of course the paradise give justice and infinite satisfaction
for everybody...)

The surat "al nass" (the men, or human), says that "al wasswass" (ibliss and
his daemons, I am not good enough in english to get a translation of the word
"wasswassa", but it means someone whispering to fool you and deceive you) acts

on both humans and jinns.

As I said, deamons are of the jinns, but quite different. they also have the
free will, since nobody in this universe is evil by essence, even ibliss have
and had the free will.
I remember I read a hadith (though I don't remember it's correctness, but the
book I was reading was taking care of the issnad of those hadiths) that says
that the prophet (saw) had a rather different daemon in himself (as all humans

and jinns have one taking "care" of them) for he was muslim, and that he was
helping the prophet (saw) in his faithfullness unlike the common of the
daemons. Which suppose that there may also be some (probably very few) that
acts unlike the common of their kindred.

But you may say why mostly all those daemons if they are not fundamentaly evil

are evil anyway. Well, I say allahou a3lam (god knows best), but all this is
linked to this unanswered question of the "rouh" (the soul). There is an aya
in the Kuran that says "if they ask you about the soul, tell them it's the
knowledge of God, and those that know the (this?) knowledge of God are very
few".

Wa allahou a3lam.

As for the sexual abilities of the jinns, I don't know, but many stories we
heard about man being married with a female jinn. To know whether it's true or

no, God knows.
