assalam alaikum,
Mr.Mirza writes:

(thorough) purifying. (33:33)

What is clear is that Allah(SWT) talked about the wives, and after that
He(SWT) said (in a comparison) that He(SWT) purifies Ahlel-bait. Here,
we need to refer to Hadiths to know who Ahlel-bait.
The Hadiths i mentioned from Sunni Sihah exclude the wives from
Ahlel-bait. Umm Salama and Aisha themselves testified that they were
excluded.
The Prophet(sAaas) was used to gather Ali(as), Fatima(as), Al-Hassan(as)
and Al-Hussain(as) exclusively and then said that those are Ahl-baity.

Allah(SWT) says that uncleanness (rijs) implies error and sin:
"O you who believe! INTOXICANTS and GAMES OF CHANCE and
(sacrificing to) STONES set up and (dividing by) ARROWS are only an
UNCLEANNESS, the Shaitan's work; shun it therefore that you may
be successful." (5:90)
And you say the opposite.
>there is no reason why all the Muslims who perform their ablutions
>before offering the Prayers are not held as infallible, because
>about them also Allah says:
> " But Allah wills to purify you and complete His blessings
> upon you." (Al-Maidah: 6)
"O you who believe! when you rise up to PRAYER, WASH your
faces and your hands as far as the elbows, and WIPE your heads
and your feet to the ankles; and if you are under an obligation to
perform a total ablution, then wash (yourselves) and if you are
sick or on a journey, or one of you come from the privy, or you
have touched the women, and you cannot find water, betake
yourselves to pure earth and wipe your faces and your hands
therewith, Allah does not desire to put on you any difficulty, but
He wishes to purify you and that He may complete His favor on
you, so that you may be grateful." (5:6)
"None shall touch it (the Qur'an) save the purified ones" (56:79).
The word "purify" here means purified of HADATH (like SLEEP, PIPI, CACA, ..)
and not of RIJS (UNCLEANESS, SINS, Shaitan's work) like in the previous verse.
It s known by all muslims, that before touching the Allah's word (Qur'an)
or going to Prayers, he should have been (Mutawade') i.e. purified of HADATH or
NAJASA.

I thought that we now know who was trying to make the Quran following
his own desires.
I remind you Mr. Mirza that i replied to all your questions and accusations
so it is worthless to repost my replies, if you are interested see previous
postings.

I would like you to translate the whole Aayyeh (33:33) Where Allah (SWT)
is referring to all Ahl-Albayt and tells the wives of Rassoulo Allah (SAAWS)
to do the good deeds he ordered them and all muslims including Ahl-Albayt.
And they are included for the part of Aayyeh you are referring to.
When translating Qura'n we should be careful to translate everything and
all close relevances in the Surah, not according to a point we want to
prove. Not to make it like "Waylon lil mussallein" which should be
followed by "Allatheen hum an salatehim sahoon". Which is in english
Curse waiting for prayers who miss their prayers.
Finally I would remention this, What muslims will benefit now from this
discussion, Can you brothers tell me, I think I am living in other
century may be first Hejri!!.
For Khalifah and Parliament Allah said in the Qura'n:
"Wa amruhum Shoura Baynahum"
Which can be translated to that the muslims deal in their matters in
democracy.
And Allah said:
"Innama Umatukum Ummatun Wahidah Wa Ana RAbukum fa'bodoun"
Your nation is one nation and Allah is you god so worship him.Your nation is one nation and Allah is you god so worship him.
And Rassoulo Allahi said :
No difference between Arabs and non Arabs, Blacks, Whites. and the only
difference is Taqwa.
So I believe all muslims are equal including Ahl-Albayt in front of
Islamic law, duties and rights and Allah said that in the Qur'an. So the
Khalifah is the best among muslims.

Just a side point that I would like to make, which seems to be of
extreme importance to me. I think it is of especial importance while
quoting from the Quran to at least give a translation of all of the
Ayah that one is giving a reference from, and possibly even the Ayahs
preceding and succeeding. The reason for this is that even with
ordinary texts it is quite easy to quote out of context, or to miss
the context. With a text that is as marvellously complicated as the
Quran the danger is multiplied manyfold, and that is something that
should be avoided at all costs.
Salam Alekum,
Basalat Ali Raja.

I agree. That is why I would like to point out the translation below:

How can you translate the word "shoura" as "democracy"? You should keep
in mind that not everybody reading this newsgroup can speak and
understand in Arabic. (including me, I know very little arabic)
Shoura <> democracy. I will not give the historical development of
democracy, nor the meaning given in a dictionary. My point is they are
different and we must be very carefull in translation since otherwise
we may be fabricating lies to Allah (SWT).
May Allah forgive us.
Assalaimu aleykum,

Is it halal to eat food that has mono and diglycerides in it ?
My question relates to the fact that if mono and diglycerides are
derived from pig/swine then all food that contains these are not
halal.
Could someone enlighten me on this please.
Waassalaam.
Syed Ahmed.
Is it halal to eat cheese which has been made using acids from an
animal which was slaughtered not in the Islamic way?

As far as I know mono and diglycerides are derived from animal source.
Same is the case with Lecithin (spelling?). If it is not from animal
source, it will be clearly stated in the ingredient listing that it is
VEGETABLE MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES, and SOY LECITHIN. For example, the
bread sold by 'Maiers' has vegetable mono and diglycerides. Similarly
other products, (probably, bakery stuff, cakes, cookies, etc., from
'nthamans' and some other (jewish?) companies) use soy lecithin and
vegetable glycerides.
And naturally if any thing is derived from swine it is not halal!!
May Allah SWT feed all muslims with HALAL food, so that our prayers
are accepted.
May be some other brothers and sisters knowledgeable about this issue
can shed more light.
Wassalam
Imtiaz Shaik
Monoglycerides and diglycerides are breakdown products of fatty acids.
When fat is mobilized from peripheral tissues for energy purposes it
goes into the blood stream as fatty acids. When fat is eaten it is
broken down to mono- and diglycerides in the intestines. Unless this
is done, it cannot be absorbed. So it does not matter whether the
food in question contains mono- and diglycerides but what is the origin
of these breakdown products of fat.

I fully agree with you regarding regarding mono and diglycerides
and Lecithin. And that is the information I got from various
sources. But a large number of people, in particular the Arabs
do not care about these ingredients. The response I got from
them was as follows. The source of Lecithin, for example, may
be from vagetable or from animal. But you are not sure whether
it is from vegetable or animal. So according to a hadith you
consider it vegetable and can eat.
The same logic goes for the meat of the Christians. Muslims are
required to eat only those meat whose animal was slaughtered in
the name of Allah. But according to the Qur'an the food of the
people of the book is halal for us. Noe there are two theories:
(i) If you are not sure that the name of Allah was mentioned at
the time of slaughter then according to a hadith you simply say
Bismillah and then eat. (ii) The meat of the Christians are
unconditionally halal for us (as proclaimed by Allah in the
Qur'an).
