The Following speech By Shaykh Ahmad Deedat, who is a world renowned
scholar from South Africa was made following his trip to the Islamic
Republic of Iran on 3 March , 1982.

Be advised that Shaykh Deedat has died of prolonged illness in South
Africa as reported by one of his family members, May Allah be Merciful
to him. His death was reported to me over a year ago.
I loved him and learned from him, his work was an eye opener for me,
it is fundamental bedrock research in the Christian - Muslim dialogue.

Actually? I regret, I very much doubt this. In my eyes he only made fun of
Muslim scholarship.

because of his statements about the shi'i-muslims. They just cannot accept
anyone who speaks positively about uniting all muslims or just minimizing
the differences among them.
Their main problem is that they still suffer from absent tolerance. Besides
this many of their likes still place hope in Osama bin-Laden (who fled his
neighboring Palestine and Beit-ul Moqaddas to make Jihad in Afghanistan in
collaboration with the US) who planned to become a selfstyled Khalifa for
the whole Ummah.
Take a look at movements like Hizb ur-Tahrir, Khilafah etc. who is just
after the power. Actually they have made Islam a business by following their
own inclination.
Ok, if these people can answer this question: Who is the spearhead against
the Zionist entity. Who have placed fear in the hearts of the occupiers in
Palestine?. Who have forced these militant jews to withdraw from Islamic
lands for the first time since the invaders came to Palestine/Lebanon? And
lastly who have been the main victims of their "holy war against kafirs"?
The shi'ites of course - because it's much easier to keep a war against
cvillians like scholars/doctors/journalists/politicians etc.
Here I must answer: How many opponents from kuffar have they treated like
they treated shi'is? None because they are not "created" for that purpose!
Some days ago I saw a posting about the origin og wahabbis and now I know
for sure that those people who gave power to Abdel Wahab and the Saud family
also had the same problem as Osama and Co. All other Muslims are kuffar in
their eyes and only deserves to be killed.
Can anyone draw parallels from the present wahabbi plague and the
circumstances around the time when Abdel Wahab declared his new "madhab"?
What have these people done for the sake of Islam, other than distort the
common Islamic belief and trying to degrade the lofty status of our Hadrat
Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) ?
Actually these people should stop calling every Muslim nation, without
exception, for Kuffar-regimes. Because what have they done for Islam other
than critizising all Muslims (those who does not favor their opinion).
Everything these people have done have only been profitable for their
masters who created them and NOT for ISLAM -not to mention the damage and
pain they inflicted on the muslims.
What about the gift from God like oil´? It's has only befitted their
preference in living a luxury and comfortable life at this expense !
Name me one of Osmas men who have ever confronted/killed any zionist
occupier ? You just can't find one. Why ? Because they really are afraid of
the Zionists.
Why else should Osama flee his occupied Arab land to make Jihad in a place
far far away from the Holy Jerusalem? If he was a bit clever and Islamic he
should have confronted the zionists with all his God given power and
resources. But he did what Saddam did: Tried to mention the conflict in
Palestine when he needed it politically or strategically. And all that was
in vain, because they "forgot" their obligation when they was busy with
killing Muslims instead of UNITE under the banner of Islam and help the
defenseless Palestinians and teach the occupiers a lesson, which is only
possible when we, all Muslims unite and focus on Al-Aqsa Mosque, for that is
the most important and urgent conflict which can make us come together and
be united, inshaallah. Does I need to mention that this Holy place was also
the place from where our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his
progeny) made his ascension to the Heavens, also called Mehraj Sharif. But
the wahabbis have also denied this fact - they even reject this event in
hadrat Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his progeny) prophecy. Guess why?
It would be easier to stay away from liberating al-Quds and say it never
took place.
Actually they have estranged the Islamic characteristic and belief for the
Muslims around the Land of Revelation, and in particular the Gulf-states.

After a rousing and informative debate someone addressed Mr. Deedat as
Doctor Deedat. A Doctor of Divinity had just been circled in
argument and called Deedat a doctor as a result of the convincing and
insurmountable points Deedat laid out. He thought Deedat had
education and worldly sophistication. Deedat only went up to
elementary school before going to work as a laborer, as I remember his
resume. Deedat never took himself seriously as a scholar. He was
quick to say he had limited education and as an Indian in South Africa
in the 1920s, 30s and 40s, life was not easy.
His life was in part a reaction to Christians making fun of the muslim
minority in South Aftica for which he had no immediate response for
their abuse and ridicule of the Prophet of Allah s.a.w. and Islam.
He was in attack mode sometimes because he was attacked, and attacked
constantly and viciously.
Forgive him. I pray that Allah will be pleased with him. His good
and the knowledge he imparted, far outweighed any wrong or slights he
may have possessed, inshaAllah.
I would, though, certainly like to hear HOW Deedat made fun of muslim
scholarship. Please explain yourself.
