"For all those things hath Mine hand made, saith the Lord. But to
THIS MAN I will look: even to him that is poor, and of a contrite
spirit, and trembleth at My Word."

In other words, the thing God is really interested in is FAITH, such
as was displayed by the gentile Ninevites (Jonah 3:5 --- "So the
people of Nineveh believed God, and . . .").

Rather than KNOWLEDGE, alluded to in the context of Isaiah 66:2 (which
actually, as yet, was total ignorance, of Christ), which the Jews
still have as yet, today: ignorance of Christ.

The Ninevites (actually just like the "enlightened" Jews) had no
KNOWLEDGE, whatsoever! NONE! As they themselves exclaimed, in
Jonah 3:9.

And God says, in Acts 17:30, He accepted that fact, THEN. But now: He
does not! Since His final Word on it, via the Resurrection of Christ.

KNOWLEDGE comes as the result of FAITH; both come from the Lord, via
His Word, today (Romans 10:17).

God did not require KNOWLEDGE, in the OT (Acts 17:30-31). He says
that He DID require FAITH.

Again, the Jews, even their very Priests, in the OT, did not have it.
Not that it wasn't given, in the Torah. But yet, the "veil was still
there," and they did not comprehend it --- just as the unsaved Jews
today STILL do not comprehend it. And without FAITH, they never will,
in this world.

In particular, faith in that ONE, who commanded nature itself, and Who
told the men in the middle of the Sea of Tiberias, I AM --- BE NOT
AFRAID, (or as the OT put it, "Be Still, then, and KNOW THAT I AM
GOD") and Who rose from the dead. Whom God commanded FAITH in,
throughout the OT.

Of Whom the unsaved Jews, yet today, have NO KNOWLEDGE.

FAITH, and KNOWLEDGE, must be distinguished, FROM THE SCRIPTURES.
