The Baha'i IRC room is aptly named #bahai.

If your friend has access to AOL, we have an ongoing Baha'i Chat every
Monday evening at 10:30 E.T. in The Front Porch of the Religion and Ethics
section. I am one of the co-hosts. The chat is now completing its third
year. If you have difficulty finding it, you can email me.

I understand that there are other Baha'i chats on other online services as
well, but I don't have that information. Perhaps someone else does.

There are a number of different "Chat Rooms"
AOL has a Chat room on certain nights .

On IRC (International Relay Chat) there are Baha'i channels in various
systems,

Usually they are named #bahai

EFNet, Euronet, Dalnet(and maybe others) are linked togeather by a
programme called a "Bot"

If you enter one of the #bahai channels and you see a user called
Bridgebot, or Bridgeeu or Bridgeef you might find that there are others
able to see your messages on other systems. Just type Hello or something
like that and you could get a reply. Some of the channels also have
"Bots" on them to stop people taking over the channels for their own
ends.. That is why sometimes although there seems to be others there you
may not get a reply.

Keep persevering..

Look out for "fragrant" that is me :-)

Heya Maryam..I'm glad you're enjoying the fellowship of #bahai :).

If anyone has any questions about our IRC Bahai channel...such as rules,
guidelines.etc (which we do indeed have to make sure a seeker friendly
environment prevails) you can e-mail me at ri...@indy.net and I'll be
happy to tell ya all about it :).

Thank you everyone for all the info being sent on Bahai chat lines, I have a
few questions about IRC, 1. Where do i find the channel? 2. How do I go about
in getting started on the channel? 3.What are the charges,if any? 4.What are
the step by step instuction in finding # bahai on the internet? Please I
would like to be treated like a 2 year old, in this matter as I am very new
to the computer world, only owned one for 1 month. So take me by my hand and
guide me through the IRC in the cyber world.I wait with excitment to learn
