You have to remember that the suspect's mortal injuries
were actually caused by his brother running him over, and,
that all of the collateral injuries were from the police
themselves.

As always, the biggest danger is from law enforcement,
who, one must realize, dream of shooting off a weapon
at a suspect, day in and day out.

So, it's actually no wonder that they indiscriminately
shoot. Most just want to say they were in the action,
and what better way to prove it than to shoot a few
rounds in the general direction of a suspect.

It's just the way it is and you can't blame the police
as you'd do the same were you also as scared as they are.
