Subject: OTA Report on Dismantlement is imminent
Sorry to have been out of touch for so long. The OTA report on
Nuclear Warhead Dismantlement and Materials Disposition will be
available sometime in September.
I cannot tell you exactly when, however, the report is, for all
intents and purposes, complete. Only bureacratic procedures and
publishing timelines need to be overcome at this point. I wanted
to let the Arms List group know that it would be released soon.
It is not a highly technical report. It focuses primarily on
governmental options for effectively and safely managning the
tasks of dismantlement and the associated materials streams from
it.
Let me know if you have any questions. Obviously, I am not in a
position to reveal details of the report or its conclusions or
recommendations. However, I would be happy to convey what
information I can.

Greetings!
Since signing onto this list on 21 June 1993, I haven't seen any
discussions - which is surprising in light of the events that are
continually transpiring that would be likely topics.
Would someone care to throw a stimulating (hopefully) topic out?
