to
Cape Town, South Africa.

We invite all "Donors" and "Angels" wishing to invest in the sustainable
upliftment of communities in Africa, to join hands with us and participate
in our efforts to set up a trust to provide soft-finance (not give freely)
to poor communities to enable them to start their own profit generating
business and support centers

It will consist of:

1. Technology teaching,

2. Communal internet facilities and

3. A small/micro business support center.

We have the means - Let's do it!

Excelerate the poor's ability to fend for themselves.
Imagine having this in hundred of small towns and villages over Africa,
India and other poor regions of the world.

Give millions of people a chance to get an education and to contribute
meaningfully to society!

These are our first steps to get this initiative started and we appreciate
any and all input to this worthy cause.

Once we have a few people together, we will have to have a sort of virtual
get together to select an international management committee to oversee and
plan our efforts.

My initial thoughts are that we will need some of the following resources!

1= A good strategy to market the concept of sustainable aid through small
business.
2 = Rope in as many interested parties as we can to spread the idea world
wide. We should mobilize thousands of people all over the world to help us.
3 = Get people to help us approach donors, foundations and government aid
agencies.
4 = Get a donor structure going to support our new foundation / trust with
funds and resources like computer equipment, software, 4x4 vehicles, power
generators or even better solar based energy, Internet infrastructure that
will work in very remote areas etc.
5 = Interest professional strategists and lobbyists in our work.

I believe that because we are based in Africa, on the one hand we understand
the people, culture and problems better than most. And on the other hand we
are based in what is basically a first world country in Africa with
infrastructure etc.

As a country and as a company we have the correct and proven approach and
product to make this initiative happen. We also do not have the political
baggage of most western countries when it comes to the African's perceptions
of the rest of the world.

If you have more to add I would appreciate hearing from you. I believe that
this can be the meaningful life fulfilling task that many of us are
searching for. This is the seed that can spawn a stunning result that will
really mean something. This effort is not bound to a single race or
continent but can be used worldwide in all poor communities.

In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could spread the message as
far and wide as you can! For information about our us and our company, see

We believe that the proven vehicle to do all of this is a Creative Minds®
Center. The company is ready, able and prepared to do its part in this
initiative.

Since starting to franchise their South African developed methods and
business model in 1997, Creative Minds® have, in their first five years,
already opened close to fifty branches and are actively represented in South
Africa, Botswana and Namibia

Creative Minds® is a group of franchised skills training centers, with the
current emphasis on basic computer literacy training in a fun and easy way,
where they are firmly entrenched in the largest market of all: Families, job
seekers, children, teenagers, mothers, middle aged and elderly people who
all wants caring and gentle personal tuition. We specialize in people who
have difficulty understanding and coping with technology!

Creative Minds® was started, after observing a need for caring and trusted,
ground-roots and community based computer training. The founders' background
in educational publishing and his specific interest in accessible learning
technologies, led him to develop a unique method of dealing with students in
a practical, uncomplicated, caring and confidence building way.

Basic courses, including Computer basics, Windows (98 - Me - 2000 - XP),
Word-processing basics, database basics, spreadsheet basics and Internet &
e-mail are generally offered. A host of more advanced courses are also
available to more advanced students, but still in a personal, friendly and
gentle manner!

Since the concept has become known, Creative Minds® has become sought after,
and is the top franchise in this market. Creative Minds has sustained an
impressive and explosive growth since inception and developed so far only
with its own internally generated funding.

Creative Minds has twice been featured, as "leader in its field", on the
cover of the small-business magazine: "Start and Manage Your Business".

Creative Minds® is also seen as the largest privately owned and managed
franchise of its kind in Southern Africa. This company is now ideally set to
make a meaningful and successful leap into the larger international markets.

Creative Minds® branches have a high rate of success. Creative Minds is
interested in helping people of all communities progress into their own
business, in this new technological era, with as little pain and stress as
possible! Franchise applicants are screened, for good communication skills
and a natural nurturing ability.

These are our first steps to get this initiative started and we appreciate
any and all input to this worthy cause.
