I nearly busted a gut when +aK00Kla's lickb0yz couldn't figure out whether he
ordered them to HALT or not! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

A few posters asked for a warning on this. We may need to shut down
until January.

Posting HALTs are a way to let offenders know that they must follow the
abwi0-FAQ when all else fails to get their attention.

A few posters asked me via email to give them a warning if a HALT was
going to occur in abwi0, so I did. If the parts swapping gets out of
hand, a HALT will take place. If people comply with the simple request
to swap parts elsewhere, then it won't.

It's far too difficult to clamp down on the trolling and other crossposted
text, so I don't. That's why the filters exist.

Binaries are another matter. If it is just one person spewing, like PHUNEE,
I get out my LART cannon and LART them. Parts swapping is just too hard to
handle any other way.

abwi0 and abcdi0 are the two groups where the poster's wishes reign supreme.
It's too bad that too many people have gotten used to ignoring the posters'
wishes.

LART = Luzer Attitude Readjustment Tool

The LART cannon is the big variant. The LART missile (aka 'going
nuclear') is reserved only for the most egregious of offenders.

A simple LARTing is just an effective complaint to the abuse@ person.
The LART cannon is a more effective complaint to the abuse@ person.
The LART warhead is an even more forceful complaint to people who can
stop the Abuse when the abuse@server fails to take action.
The LART equivalent of nuclear warfare is a UDP.

I rarely have to go above the cannon, but I'm not afraid to use an
occasional warhead.

FUCK them; I *do* respect most of them, but *NOT* seeing as they post
in *complete* total dis-regard for the Posting-Halt. They can live in
my K-F for the next 60 days. Any bitching; here's the place.

AFAIK a posting halt has not yet been called for abwi0, to this point
just a warning has been issued. If I am mistaken, gee that's never

Akula announced it in a.b.c. (& some other groups?).

If you have any problems finding it, let Akula know and he can pop in
a few of his archived CD's and post it for you. He can only go as far
back as late 1998 tho.
