Did you know John F. McGibney?

My name is Danny. I was wondering if anyone reading this NG knew my
cousin John McGibney. He was from South Burlington, Vermont and moved to
Florida while in his 20's (sometime between 1985 and 1990).
During the summer of 1993 my family found out he was HIV positive and had
AIDS. I was also told he was gay. Shortly after we knew this, he moved
back to Vermont to be with his parents. Up until then I had been fairly
closeted, as I was just barely 21. I did finally sort of come out to him
New Year's Eve that same year. However, we never really talked much and
in October 1994 he passed, after just turning 30.
I never really got to know my cousin, so I was hoping that maybe he had
some computer savvy friends that may be roaming the internet newsgroups...
and would be willing to share with me how they came to know him and what
he was like.
I would rather ask his parents or siblings, but I have a vauge feeling
that they would rather just not talk about him. So, if you knew my cousin
and are willing to exhange a few emails about him, please send me a note.
