Having finally become tired enough of codes that don't fit
me to get off my sorry ass and do something about it, I present
to you my attempt at a code for us gyrlz. With thanks to Lea Delaria
I present to you the MuffDiva Index.

Instead of +'s and -'s, in an attempt to leave out any hint of
judgement in any factors my code uses !'s and *'s. The choice
of which position in ! and which is * is my own and not meant to
weight either symbol. 'Kay, PC out of the way, here goes.

Okay -- Truth Test! How many MEN here have already put together their
MuffDiva Index (MDI)? Come out, come out, wherever you are!

b te*fb!h*o(*)m!s!!k!

Note: parentheses are used for the 'O' characteristic to further
qualify the subject; namely "likes it", but "NEVER has been
to Michigan".

Considering the "size" codes available to bears/smurfs, I'm surprised
to find v1.0 of the MDI omits references to breast/cup size....v1.1 maybe?

Great initiative. I suggest two more added.

L (Leisure time factor)

** always running on the way to the next match she is
about to play

* works out every week but enjoys friends over for a
chat too

blank enjoys both working out and quiet times

! goes for a walk occasionally but prefers to read a
good book and have friends over for dinner

!! "Where is the f*****g remote......."

PC (yes that too, and here it is appropriate with the judgement of the
+'s and -'s.)

++ certainly knows better that me what that is

+ mostly pc

blank does not worry about being pc

- likes to offend the pc-police now and then

-- couldn't care less about what the pc-police says

Yay! I love it. Good job. My MDI:

b_te*fb!!h*o_m!s*k!

I used a "_" for the blank, middle-of-the-road.

How about the Vices factor?

V (what she will put in her mouth or accept in others):

!! Eats, drinks, or smokes anything or likes those who do.

! Has limits but is experimental.

blank Doesn't (often) indulge but accepts other's vices.

** Perfers non-using vegetarians but will make allowances.

* Organic vegetables and brown rice only.

Perhaps (at risk of making a horrendous error while generalizing
madly) lesbians (or even women in general) aren't as
"size-obsessed" as men in our society tend to be?

In the spirit of the original bearcode's basis (astronomical classification),
I think we need to do this particular section somewhat differently...

(m) - Meateating
(s) - Smoking

Use +'s as intensifiers...
Thus V(m)+++ - Won't sit down to a meal if there's no dead flesh on her plate.
V(s)+ - Smokes a bit, but doesn't object to doing it outside
V(a) - Indulges occasionally

DAMN! i KNEW there was somethign i had forgotten to suggest adding...
i would disagree with the comment about size-obsessed, actually, just i

This is totally cool except that I feel my answer would be
"Other: Explain" for practically every category ... just
for a minor example, I don't think dreadlocks fit into the
hair category. But now Windows MDI programming will never
be the same! :-)

You get to pick: Boots only, heels only, boots sometimes, heels sometimes,
boots, heels all the time. If the only time you wear boots is to
get on your bike your code would depend on how often you ride, m'dear.

Hmmm, thinkin' on this one....

There've been some good suggestions, enough so that I think I'll keep
just enough control of this thing to make a V 1.01.

I like the vice codes and will definatley add them. What do gyrlz think
about the suggestions for the PC code and the Goddess (or spirituality)
code? My feeling is the Goddess code Ailsa came up with is a tad too
specific - maybe one with more generic terms, that doesn't assume
PC affiliation at the end ("religion in distructive to those who might
otherwise be usef to The Movement" at one end and Dianic rites at the other
leaves nowhere in the middle for me, for instance).

And, what about the breast size question? I left it off because in my
experience women aren't size queens gh to include it. Ailsa suggests
it's not about being a queen, but having a preference. I have a preference,
but it's rarely in the first group of things I cruise in women. If a clear
majority of women email me that they'd have fun with a tit code I'll
add one.

Yeah, there's nowhere for me, either.

>And, what about the breast size question?

Oh, ick. If we're (oops--should says "you're") going to include it,
for "fun", I think it should at least be outrageous--clearly non-serious.
Shape-related, perhaps?
