I have received your petition appealing the response of the Cambridge Public Library (Library) to your July 17, 2009 public records request. See G.L. c.66 s10(b) (2006 ed.) http://mass.gov/sec/pre (Supervisor of Records has authority to resolve public records appeals), see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2) http://mass.gov/sec/pre (appeal process). Specifically, you requested access to the minutes of the Board of Library Trustee's June meeting.

In a July 20, 2009 email to you, Mr. Andre Mayer, Secretary to the Board, asserted that the official June minutes have not yet been created. However, he informed this Office that the notes from the meeting would be made available to you. Please contact the Library Director's Office to arrange for a viewing of these records.

Given that the Library does not possess records responsive to your request but is making available records closely related to your request, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
Very truly yours,
Alan N. Cote
Supervisor of Records
