If you've been following the story of Stanislav Petrov, the Cold
War hero from the former Soviet Union who prevented a potential
worldwide nuclear war in 1983, there's a recent interview with

Stanislav Petrov was presented with the World Citizen Award on
May 21, 2004, in Moscow. A month later (just a couple weeks ago)
the Senate in the Parliament of Australia passed a motion commending
