9th Flak Division

Question (a very tough one) :

The 9th Flak division was destroyed at Stalingrad.
Before the destruction of this division Commander Wolfgang Pickert flew
out of the Stalingrad "pocket".
Oberst Wilhelm Wolff (Staff of Flak-Regiment 37 at Stalingrad)
took over command.

But after a while (days, hours ?) ObLt Richard Haizmann
became commander of the 9th Flak Division.

Was Oberst Wilhelm Wolff killed ? or did he left the Stalingrad pocket
too ?
or was he captured by the Russians ?

I recommend that you look in

Hayward, Joel S. A. Stopped at Stalingrad: The Luftwaffe and Hitler’s
Defeat in the East, 1942-1943. Lawrence: UP of Kansas, 1998.

It's a good book, very comprehensive and interesting.
