When reading about the War, I often come across statements such
as, "the area was heavily bombed during the war" or "the village
was subject to significant shelling during the campaign." Does
anyone know where I go (preferably on the Net) to verify/clarify
such statements? Is there a database or something where I can
check U.S. ordnance records with regard to particular areas in
Vietnam?
Thanks.

I would suspect not. You might be able to find gross estimates,
but nothing very specific -- particularly if joint forces were
involved.

For a major battle such as An Loc, you had Army, Navy, Marine,
Air Force and VNAF aviation units involved, the SVN army, the
CIA, and who know who else bombing the sh*t out of that city.
There would be no centralized records.

Just my 2 cents.
