Well what a surprise in your answers. Anything from
predictions for the future, devil worshiping, to the pope in Rome.
Not what I expected. So guessing none of you really know much about
the Free Masons. George Washington and John Hancock were both
Masons. The Capitol building and streets were designed by the
Masons. They started out as stone Masons back in early times, but
over time became more. Wonder why when people do not know the inner
workings of an organization, they start saying it is evil. Just
because someone says so in print, does not make it so. Martin Luther
split from the Roman Church and formed his own church. The church was
responsible for the destruction of the Gnostic religion and think
about the religious wars and the list goes on and on.
I am not interested in starting a war here. I do not know a
lot about Ancient history but what I have read seems to be a violent
history. I thought maybe the news group could share what they have
knowledge of.
In peace,

Hmmm in my old age I've become rather cynical of demonic masonic claims
howevr I do know this there is a left form of free masonry where the untold
millions that are given out from rate payers and tax payer money for some
half hearted grant aided scheme are always passed on to the left minded
businesses.
My mate used to run his own computer business and the amount of work he got
that way through old communist party contacts was very obvious.

I'm a Freemason for one reason and that is to help the Shriners
Children's hospital we have here locally. We raise money to ensure the
medical staff can continue to provide medical care for those that
couldn't afford to go elsewhere. Our hospital happens to be a burn
unit, it breaks my heart when I go through the place and see all the
kids so badly burned but all have a smile for you.
Last year we built a "Ronald McDonald house" which houses parents
and families that come to visit their children at the hospital,
McDonalds matched us penny for penny.
I've been a Freemason for well over twenty years and have yet to
see or hear anything that could compromise my religious beliefs. All
it is is a fraternal organisation, those that have conspiracy theories
are just plain nuts as far as I'm concerned!

Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith
DECLARATION ON MASONIC ASSOCIATIONS:

It has been asked whether there has been any change in regard to Masonic
associations since the new Code of Canon Law does not mention them
expressly, unlike the previous code.

This Sacred Congregation is in the position to reply that this
circumstance is due to an editorial criterion which was followed also in
the case of other associations likewise unmentioned inasmuch as they are
contained in wider categories.

Therefore the Church's negative judgment in regard to Masonic
associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been
considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and therefore
membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful who enroll in Masonic
associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy
Communion.

It is not within the competence of local ecclesiastical authorities to
give a judgement on the nature of Masonic associations which would imply
a derogation from what has been decided above, and this in line with the
Declaration of this Sacred Congregation issued on 17 February 1981 (cf.
AAS 73 [1981]pp. 240-241) (Published in English language edition of
"L'Osservatore Romano, 9 March 1981. In an audience granted to the

Repeat: "It is not within the competence of local ecclesiastical

authorities to give a judgement on the nature of Masonic associations
which would imply a derogation from what has been decided above"

In other words, your "local priest" or "bishop" who (allegedly) still
gives you Communion despite knowing you are a Freemason is not authorized
to give a judgement on this matter derogating the final and definitive
judgement of the SCDF. The priest's opinion is null and void.

Not that there is such a priest of course. You're just a liar who
pretends he is on good terms with his local parish priest who has no
problem giving him Communion.

I hope your pain in Hell is excruciatingly severe.

Dear Ronayne,
I expected you experts in the field of soc.history.medieval to
be sincere enough to give a reasonable account of the Masons. Like a
very short history. Isn't this what a newsgroup is for is discussing
history. Is sharing one's knowledge too much to expect. I had only
one distant family member whom was a Mason. He had nothing to do with
Stone laying, as his job was in the field of oil refinery. He would
never stay with any organization that was evil in any way. Yes, I
will go and read what I can about the Masons and also about Lehi and
the Jaredites that eventually formed the Mormon churches here in
America. I have little faith in finding out the truth from this
group. I thank you for your advice though.

Actually, masons don't seem to publicise their charitable work very
much at all. Certainly much less than clubs like Round Table, Rotary

Different names, same agenda. It is the restoration of that corrupt
"Golden Age" of incarnate demons which the Egyptian mystery religion
represented and continues to represent. It is an ancient violent and
immoral world which developed before the Flood which New Age spirit
guides are seeking to re-establish, but which will be swept away by
the War of Armageddon. The term "Golden Age" is a very misleading one,
as is the term "spirituality" when used in conjunction with Adam
Weishaupt whose "spirituality" was referred to as "horrifying." The
Illuminati's fundamental principles pervert the noble meaning of
spirituality, and are working for the establishment of a "horrifying"
"Golden Age."
