Quite an interesting collection of aircraft. What percentage of these
aircraft use jet propulsion ? BTW, what became of Sosa (the pilot
captured by Nigeria in 1969?) It's a shame that we "biafrans" spend so
much time (and bandwidth) attacking our enemies (real and perceived),
instead of praising our european allies who stood (and died) with us at
the frontlines. I see no monuments to the late Count Von Rosen - a man
who virtually built the BAF from scratch ? Where are streets with the
names of the Belgian and Portugese pilots who flew in the name of africa's
rising sun ? None, not even one! Yet we danced to songs praising Murtala
Mohammed for creating states that diluted our political power (a man who
murdered our Asaba brethren in cold blood.) With glee, we even handed
over his killer (Dimka) back to our oppressors! What foolishness and
ingratitude!

Well, until my people awaken from the drunken stupor called stupidity, let
me take this opportunity to thank you, and our belgian, portuguese, and
scandinavian friends who rallied to our cause 30 years ago, and still keep
the memories alive! It's my prayer that you receive your just reward here
on earth, or in heaven. The sun will rise again!
