I have used the Publicgis web services to offer new interfaces to two of the
themes "United States Gazetter" and "Canadian Business Directory".

You can find them at

You should find these interfaces **much** easier to use than the interfaces
offered by publicgis.com.

For both services, you can search by ZIP/postal code or populated place
(city, town, etc). You also have more options available to -- right on the
main screen. Also, I added a more useful export service, also available
without need to supply an email address.

Again, thanks to publicgis.com for exporting their geographic services
